Must have tool if you own a Volkswagen or Audi vehicle. This tool can save you hundreds of dollars over the dealer and an Euro mechanic that does charges $180 for a diagnostic. It can also program other things like AC servo motors and for DSG transmission service.

I bought this to find out the cause of some lights on the dashboard of my VW Passat. This scanner worked great. It was able to tell me exactly what sensor was acting up and even clear some old error codes that were still in the system. I highly recommend this for any VW owner.

Not to not does this tool tell me what the issue is, it allows me to see understated the problem. In under 3 days this diagnostic tool has saved me hundreds in diagnostic fees and unnecessary repairs with precise pin pointing not only the fault but the cause of that code.

I recently bought an Audi A3, and wanted to do some maintenance on it. I found out that a VW/Audi requires factory coding for a lot of common procedures, like replacing a battery. When researching a DIY-friendly OBD tool to use to perform factory reset/coding, OBDEleven was one of the ones that was mentioned the most by enthusiasts. I was able to use this device to code the new battery to my car, as well as read the transmission fluid temperature, which is required during a fluid change. For the latter procedure with the transmission, I found that I was only able to get this data using the Android app called OBDEleven for VAG - I was not able to find the setting on the main OBDEleven app. I haven’t done this yet, but some coding procedures require you to pay additional charges, though these seem reasonable. Overall, I found this tool to be useful and fairly priced.

After comparing the price, Walmart was clearly the better price and delivery came exactly as promised.

Great diagnostic tool, Bluetooth works great, lots of functions to manage within the app. Diagnosed 2 cars an Audi and a Lexus. Saved several hundred $ with the tool vs. dealer disgnostics.

Works great with my car (Audi A4 B9) and gives you a link to the code description which helps for diagnosis. Great purchase altogether! Only negative is that you need a subscription to unlock most of it capabilities.

Best product of you want to save money for preliminary diagnosis any kind of problems with you VW. This device save me at list 500$ without any visit to car dealership. Strongly recommend!

i cant get the equipment to accept the battery coding values kinda the whole reason i bought the device

I bought this specifically for battery adaptation and because it said it was a complete package. It would not let me do it and "customer service" said I needed to get the pro plan or buy credits. I bought 200 credits and still couldn't so I added the pro plan. Still couldn't do battery adaptation. "Customer service" was not able to help and recommended I join a VW forum online, then asked if I would like to be helped by a "live human". I got a message saying they would be back in 30 minutes and then nothing for the next 24 hours. still waiting on a human to respond. DO NOT recommend. Can't fix my battery issue and customer support is non-existent. I would give zero stars if I could.
