Pretty good ladder! It's very light weight, and has to be anchored to the side of my pool. Takes about an hour to put together...Washers are Not stainless, and will rust!

Instructions are fair, but adequate. I think that the instructions leave out a key element: the Anti-swim Barrier is difficult to snap on, I used a C-clamp to accomplish this. also 5/16 inch holes for a 1/4 in bolt/ screw is overkill: I used a 9/32 drill bit instead so there would be less play and more vinyl / decking lid metal available. there are a couple of washers: washers are cheap: I would add washers for the top plate that bolts to the pool rim and a broad flat washer with a lock washer for the nut. Took a couple of times to pull the ladder and adjust the feet: finally discarded them because My pool is exactly 48 inches. Once in: is steady, and firm. Feels secure and now we will see. by the way: water will get over the rim at times in weather and may eventually rust the fixation holes. Watch for this.

It's pretty wobbly, had to order a $40 stabilizer package. Hope it's helps. Also the screws were too short, had to buy longer screws.

when I purchased this it didn't say not for soft sided pools, it said it could be used on intex. it cannot and now the description is updated and I paid all this money for a ladder I can't use
