[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I lived abroad for a few years so often cook Asian food at home. I was excited to try the Ocean's Halo Coconut Curry Noodle soup because Thai food is one of my favorites! The smell was enticing, and I enjoyed every bite! I love the convenience of store-bought soup, but don't always find the flavors as appealing as homemade- but this one did not disappoint!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this was a really delicious soup, I thought it was seasoned well and had a good mixture of ingredients. I could see it improved because I thought that I could have used a little bit more in the packaging because I thought it was a little expensive for what you get
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised by the richness of this soup, and how the fact that the noodles had held up. It is nice and thick, with plentiful ingredients. It was too spicy for me, especially considering that it doesn't mention a spiciness level to indicate the heat.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that the sodium level is more manageable vs overwhelmingly lots. The flavor smells nostalgic and tastes delicious. It wasn't as creamy as I've imagined. It makes a quick meal tasty and easy to make. Despite the innovative design on the opening of the container, I didn't have time to read and figure it out, since cooking already started. It takes some effort to change old habits when it comes to this type of container, so it's more of user (me) issue than the design.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was quick and easy, but it doesn't quite have the rich depth of restaurant or homemade. For a soup in a box, it was great. The noodles were soft, but not mushy. I didn't like the 830mg sodium, but it didn't taste overly salty. It was spicy, and they should add an indicator so people know about the spiciness. Overall, delicious and convenient.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish there was a wheat free noodle option. I don't eat much wheat due to minor health issues with it. I loved a broth that Ocean's Halo used to sell, so I was hoping the coconut curry would be amazing. It was a little bland. Needs more spice!!! I did like the thickness of the broth which made it a more satisfying lunch. I would buy again if wheat free options were made available. The ingredients tasted high quality, and the soup was a healthier option compared to others.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked up a box of the coconut curry noodle soup as I was going to be busy later in the week. This comes together pretty quickly in the microwave with some water, sesame oil, and scallions. While this was tasty enough to be edible, I wouldn't consider this to be coconut curry as it doesn't exactly match the expectations from the label. Tastes like some form of curry and hard to tell if it's actually coconut milk.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It tastes good, it's got great anti-inflammatory spices. Coconut is healthy and the durum noodles comtain egg. A bit of protein, a nice variety of vegetables. However, as with typical soup in a can or box, it has a load of salt... 73% of the dail y limit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that it is organic and easy to prepare. However, I was disappointed that the flavor did not live up to my expectations. It tasted a bit watered down, not enough coconut or curry flavor. I doctored it up and it tasted much better. The noodles were also a bit mushy! It was a comforting soup though when you need something warm!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ocean's Halo Coconut Curry Noodle soup was definitely authentic with a nice curry taste. I appreciate the flavor profile and will admit that it was mighty tasty on a cold fall afternoon. What I did not appreciate, however, was the crazy amount of sodium in the soup . Well over a days worth and at that price I can not my justify subjecting myself to all that added salt. Sadly I will not purchase again for the poor ingredients leading to such high sodium levels.
