I’m a big fan of energy drinks. In fact I think I’ve drank them so much they don’t do anything for me anymore. That was until I tried this drink from Odyssey elixir. I have to admit, if you don’t like ginger then this flavor isn’t for you. I love it, so I liked the flavor, but that’s about all you taste is the ginger. I was hesitant to try it at first because I realized it was made with mushrooms, but I don’t taste anything like that. The energy I get from it is amazing! It doesn’t leave me jittery, it’s just a great pick me up that will get me through the day. In my opinion it’s far better than any other energy drink on the market.
These dragon fruit lemonade flavored drinks by Odyssey Elixir are surprisingly refreshing. What I like best about it is the ingredients. These drinks are jam packed with stuff to keep you healthy & give you an added boost of energy to get you through the day. The energy sources are all natural & organic so you won't find yourself or your energy crashing later in the day. It also includes erythritol, which is better for us than other types of sweeteners. On top of all that, it tastes good too! It's light & refreshing so you can enjoy it with a meal or even have it as a snack. I would recommend this product.
I wish I could say I love the flavor of these super cool drinks as much as the benefits, but you can't have it all. They do taste OK, but I can't say its a flavor I would seek out if it werent for how many benefits are packed into these little cans! I am a fan of adaptogens and use several different herbal supplements that fit the bill. I wasn't aware of the adaptogenic power of Lions Mane and Cordycep mushrooms though, so I was thrilled to see a cool new product featuring these funky fungi! I appreciate that they kept them low sugar with the help of erythritol and monkfruit. If you know anything about sweeteners, then you know these are usually the least strangely flavored! There is a tiny amount of sugar that I imagine comes from the fruit juice. With ginseng and caffeine from green tea, the Blackberry Lemon flavor provides a good amount of energy and focus. I love to have one during my mid afternoon slump! Despite the earthy flavor, I still prefer this hands down over traditional energy drinks!
Don't let the fact that it says "MUSHROOM ELIXIR" scare you away. It does not taste like lion's mane mushrooms. The taste of orange is more prominent than the ginger taste but they are both really subtle. It is not super sweet. The energy provided just wakes a person up but does not make a person feel like running a marathon. If I'm feeling a little sluggish this drink does make that feeling disappear. It only has 25 calories and 4g of sugar. That's great.
This Odyssey Energy and Focus drink, I got the Passion Fruit Orange Guava flavor. Now, this is a healthy type energy drink not all sugared up and sweet so bare that in mind when you first taste this. It also contains mushrooms that are really good for you and I happen to like mushrooms and in fact I have tried several different types looking for the one I like. This one was ok, it’s sparkling like it says but to me the taste was really flat, remember it’s NOT a sugary energy drink. As far as energy I did feel a little pick me up while I was drinking it and I drank it over ice. I personally don’t care for this flavor but I did like the energy I felt so I will be trying their other flavors they have. I gave it 4 stars because I don’t like this flavor.
I didn't really care for them, but to be fair I don't drink energy drinks. I think they have a weird aftertaste that I just can't get over. He has had one of these in the morning when he doesn't have coffee. He said he has no ill effects from drinking it like with some energy drinks. No unfortunate bathroom emergencies or increases in anxiety.
The ODYSSEY ELIXIR Energy and Focus Sparkling Mushroom Drinks are actually pretty good! First of all, the packaging and cans look great. Cool artwork. They look very appealing. That’s important. Secondly, the drinks themselves tastes pretty good. These are energy drinks that contain mushroom extract. These extracts have potential to be very good for your body. They also give you a natural energy boost. The flavor of the ones I got were pretty good. Not overly sweet. Just right. There are some organic ingredients which is a nice touch. However, there is a sugar substitute which is technically natural. But so is actual sugar. I prefer sugar over any other sweetener. The best part is the drinks certainly give you energy without the caffeine crash. Overall, these are great drinks. You should definitely try them.
I have never had an energy drink with mushrooms in it, and this is the first one that I have had that made me feel energized without the jitters. The caffeine content is 85 g. And the rest of the energy is from the mushrooms. The overall taste is very mild. Similar to a bubbly drink with just a touch more flavor.
Good little boost of energy. Not as long of a pick me up as a red bull but it does wake you up. It doesn't make me feel jittery like red bull does. I don't like the taste, it tasted like someone disolved vitamins in water. Does the job though so I will be buying more.
I got the vanity pack of Odyssey sparkling mushrooms elixirs to try. I did not care for any of the flavors. They had a very off taste and after taste. I do like the slimmer cans and the color/pictures on them. I would not recommend them to a friend but then again everyone's taste buds are different
