I live near the woods and during the summer the insects get bad but when this candle is lit it definitely helps keep them to a minimum and makes being outside pleasant. The smell is not super overpowering but just enough to keep the bugs away. Easy to light and to blow out. The design is nice as it blends in. It's very easy to use with minimal instructions. Great buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product does what it says it keeps the mosquitoes away it does have a very strong scent of citronella so if your sensitive to smells I definitely wouldn't recommend it doesn't work when your to far away from it but for a small group of people sitting around chit chatting this is the perfect solution to get relief from the mosquitoes it does burn slow which means it does last

Summer in Texas means lots of flies, mosquitos, gnats, you name it so it is essential for a citronella candle. It is a nice large candle that lasts for a long time, it's a simple and clean design and does a good job at keeping bugs away

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using off backyard Citronella candle during evenings outside in my backyard and my front yard and it's definitely help reduce mosquitoes in my area I must say the small is a bit strong at first but it gets better as it settles I think it works best when there's some airflow or some wind to help spread smell around it's good value easy to set up last for a couple uses up to 40 hours best for small gatherings on patios backyard it's big and it lasts long. The wax is very smooth. The scent throws me alphabet because it's a little strong but that's it still does Good keep mosquitoes away

I bought two of these bucket citronella candles and they have been a frustration to try and use. The 'wax' material melts in direct sunlight, covering wick and making it a task to melt the wax around the wick just to get it to light. By the time I've got it lit, I've been attacked by mosquitoes.
