I live in rural Alaska and this has been a great jacket to throw on for a chilly morning or evening. It seems to repel water decently in a light rain shower. For the price I am very happy with it.

perfect fit, zippered pockets, super light. wore it yesterday during below freezing temps and very strong winds, 25-30 mph. This coat is fantastic, blocked the wind and kept me toasty..
