Work great around kids they didn't get bit by mosquitoes and package came on time and the sent wasn't too bad of a smell

Summer in Texas means lots of flies, mosquitos, gnats, you name it so it is essential for a citronella candle. It is a nice large candle that lasts for a long time, it's a simple and clean design and does a good job at keeping bugs away

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I was skeptical about how effective this candle would be against mosquitoes but I pleasantly surprised that the mosquitos were gone for the greater portion of my backyard. It makes it much easier to host events and enjoy my backyard without the presence of irritating mosquitos and bugs.

I finally decided to stop with the candles and go with a bug light. Why chase them away time and time again when I can just kill them little bugs. Now I just sit back and listen to them get zapped...

The candle do not burn evenly it is always 1 wick that just will not act right even on the none windy days .

they really don't work and i had to use the off deep wood spray

It was just a block of wax, I had no wick and Walmart did not refund my money on this.

Paid $8 for this product in hopes to avoid using bug spray on my clothes when I want to enjoy my little patio. The product has been lit the entire time I've been outside and I've been bitten twice in the last 20 minutes with the candle sitting right next to me. Even as I write this review I'm watching a mosquito fly right next to the candle! This is absolutely the worst mosquito repelling candle I've ever used. Stay away!!! Do not purchase!!!!

The first one I bought had no visible wicks. After returning to the store and receiving another, I was only able to burn the 2nd one once before the wicks were no longer visible and covered with wax. The bugs still ate us alive while using the candle that one time as well.
