OFF! Sportsmen Deep Woods Insect Repellent II Spritz, 6 oz

I used this spray on a pair of light-colored loafers before a trip to Europe. When you're traveling, you never know what kind of weather you're going to run into, and with limited luggage space, you can't bring shoes for every possible condition. I wanted to waterproof these so I could wear them without worrying if we got caught in the rain. The spray went on very easily and dried quickly. I applied a couple of coats and was pleased that it didn't seem to change the color, texture, or appearance of the shoes at all. It also had very little odor, which I appreciated. Most importantly, it worked. The shoes were protected from the wet weather and I didn't have to worry about ruining a light-colored pair of loafers. Easy to use and effective. I can also make it a little shorter and more casual if you want it to sound even more like a typical Walmart customer review.

I purchased this for use on satin heeled sandals. The sandals were very expensive and I didn’t want anything to stain them. I was able to wear the sandals within a few hours of the spray drying it did not change the color of the satin.

Repels water some but that's about it. Didn't like the sticky it left behind.

Eh, I may not be this product's target customer, but I doubt any canvas sneaker could fare much better than mine. I work all day long on my feet, yet I made the mistake of buying white shoes. I followed the instructions to the letter and then some, even using 4 and 5 coats over days of drying and this never protected my canvas sneakers (hoka). hope this helps convince someone to just spend the extra money and get the real thing.

Doesnt seem to work. Applied it as directed waited the time as on directions but water still absorbed even after 2 applications. I do not recommend.

The sprayer hardly sprays. Is very cheap.
