MS Office 2013

hubcap1 February 24, 2014

Had to upgrade because my old office did not work with Win 8.1. I always keep up with the latest version of office so this upgrade was a no brainer for me. Ordering online saved me a few dollars above the amount of taxes. Ordering through Walmart is faster than any other venue due to the Site to Store plus the shipping charges. I will continue ordering through Walmart as long as the benefit is real. (Discount plus free shipping plus getting your order is record time = the only way to go.)

Microsoft Office for Home and Student 2013.

Redridge July 26, 2013

I am so glad I purchased the Microsoft software. It was delivered promptly as promised in five days. I needed Word to upload my resume at home instead of going to the library to use Word there so I could spend more time looking for a much needed job online. Thank you Wal Mart!!!!

good product

Colorado987 October 13, 2013

The Office product I purchased had to be downloaded from the internet. I tried for over an hour downloading it using Mozilla Firefox as my internet browser and it wouldn't download. I switched to Microsoft's internet explorer as my browser and Office downloaded right away. So, if you are having problems downloading the product, the problem might be the browser you are using. Installation went smoothly and all programs seem to be working fine.

Updated version of MS Office, great for home use

Colorado1946 January 25, 2014

I was expecting a CD, but when I picked up my MS Office package, it was only a box. I didn't recognize the "key" was a card about the size of a credit card and was in the box as well. But after struggling with the installation which was just a little different than using a CD, I got it installed. I've not used it a lot yet but one feature is that you can store your files to the "cloud." I'm still not sure if there is a charge to do that and another thing. You have to be sure to contact Microsoft at least one every so many days, I think it's like 270 or else your account can be deleted and thus any documents you save to the "cloud" will also go away. So other than those things, I think I like the product.

We bought this for our 13 year old granddaughter.

MimaKay August 22, 2013

We bought this for our granddaughter for her 13th birthday. She is very happy with it. We had it shipped to the Walmart in S.C. near to where they live. Our son suggested Walmart because he has received good service on the computer he bought there. He reports that it meets all of their expectations for a student computer. Our hope is that it will last her through high school.

Get Ready for issues

RickW1968 November 18, 2013

I purchased a new computer and the trial had ended for the Office product. I received a much better price and decided to purchase here as opposed to Microsoft. I could not download the software because of the trial version on my system. Utilizing Windows 8 it is no longer a simple process to uninstall this version. I ended up having to contact Microsoft and I had to turn over my computer to the representative. It took him almost 45 minutes to uninstall and another 30+ minutes to install the new version. The guy was great and did a good job which was the only positive to the experience. I had read where other people had experienced similar issues trying to install this product. I fault Microsoft for making a simple install so much of a hassle. I've installed software for more than 20 years and this is the worse I've seen.

No problem with product; big problem with your ad

Rocky1963 November 21, 2013

You have two ads for MS Office Home and Student 2013. One of them says the product will be delivered online. The other does NOT say that. This led me to believe (I think reasonably) that the one that is NOT delivered online would be delivered by CDs in the box. I ordered that one. I got a box with a slip of paper inside telling me how to download online. Why did the OTHER version say it was an online download, but the one I bought did NOT say that? If you don't say it's delivered online it's reasonable to assume it will come on discs. But it didn't.

Microsft Office Home and Student 2013

Trustnowon March 10, 2014

First off, I have to complain about Wal-Mart, when I ordered the Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013 I looked specifically on the page to see if this was one of those download and buy type because I did not want that type of software. So I understood it would be a CD so I ordered the software, when it arrived at my house some days later, I opened the box it arrived in and guess what NO cd disk only the product key, so now I had to go to the Microsoft web site (which by the way was a BIG hassle) download the program and then install the it. Well after installing the program and testing it and decided that I did not like the program what so ever so I went back to my Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010 and will stay with it.

This product stinks

Superdisatisfied November 20, 2013

You sent me a license card. No disk. It did not work. Not for me and not for Microsoft. You are supposed to be sending me another one. I had to send back the defective one. I needed the software when I ordered it. This delay has been a REAL PROBLEM FOR ME.

This is no good

vrobinp1024 September 5, 2013

So I thought I was getting a program disc to put on my computer. Not the case at all. It takes you to MS Cloud where you can use the programs there. It says you can then download it to 1 computer, but does not tell you how. I now need to hire an IT guy to do it for me. I want to be able to pop in a CD and have it walk me through the download.
