Microsoft Office for Home and Student 2013.

Redridge July 26, 2013

I am so glad I purchased the Microsoft software. It was delivered promptly as promised in five days. I needed Word to upload my resume at home instead of going to the library to use Word there so I could spend more time looking for a much needed job online. Thank you Wal Mart!!!!

MS Office 2013

hubcap1 February 24, 2014

Had to upgrade because my old office did not work with Win 8.1. I always keep up with the latest version of office so this upgrade was a no brainer for me. Ordering online saved me a few dollars above the amount of taxes. Ordering through Walmart is faster than any other venue due to the Site to Store plus the shipping charges. I will continue ordering through Walmart as long as the benefit is real. (Discount plus free shipping plus getting your order is record time = the only way to go.)

We bought this for our 13 year old granddaughter.

MimaKay August 22, 2013

We bought this for our granddaughter for her 13th birthday. She is very happy with it. We had it shipped to the Walmart in S.C. near to where they live. Our son suggested Walmart because he has received good service on the computer he bought there. He reports that it meets all of their expectations for a student computer. Our hope is that it will last her through high school.

Cheaper on line

kyshine August 7, 2013

Before going to the store I wanted to make sure Wal Mart did carry Office Home and Student 2013 which they do. I went to the store to purchase however once getting there the price was 10.00 higher then online. So went back home and order online to be delivered to the store.. It would have been convent if Wal-Mart would have a computer available to order product online instead of having to leave the store.. Thank you

Get Ready for issues

RickW1968 November 18, 2013

I purchased a new computer and the trial had ended for the Office product. I received a much better price and decided to purchase here as opposed to Microsoft. I could not download the software because of the trial version on my system. Utilizing Windows 8 it is no longer a simple process to uninstall this version. I ended up having to contact Microsoft and I had to turn over my computer to the representative. It took him almost 45 minutes to uninstall and another 30+ minutes to install the new version. The guy was great and did a good job which was the only positive to the experience. I had read where other people had experienced similar issues trying to install this product. I fault Microsoft for making a simple install so much of a hassle. I've installed software for more than 20 years and this is the worse I've seen.

No problem with product; big problem with your ad

Rocky1963 November 21, 2013

You have two ads for MS Office Home and Student 2013. One of them says the product will be delivered online. The other does NOT say that. This led me to believe (I think reasonably) that the one that is NOT delivered online would be delivered by CDs in the box. I ordered that one. I got a box with a slip of paper inside telling me how to download online. Why did the OTHER version say it was an online download, but the one I bought did NOT say that? If you don't say it's delivered online it's reasonable to assume it will come on discs. But it didn't.

Does not include the disks!

tbmt December 1, 2013

Nowhere in the product description does it say what you will be getting. I guess I just assumed I would get installation disks since I was being asked to pay for shipping. All I got was a box with another box inside, with a product key code card inside that. Couldn't this just get sent via email and save everyone a lot of time and resources? Also note that upon downloading Office from the web with my product code I got a notification that Microsoft will no longer support Office 2013 as of April 2014.

I never could get this to install on my PC. I even had someone that knows what they're doing to try, but he had no luck either. Unfortunately, this item falls under the category, that it can only be returned if unopened. Yet how would you know it you can't intallt the program if you don't open it????? So, I have wasted that money. So, unless you have super fast access to the internet, I certainly do NOT recommend this. And it came as a key card, not a disc, so you HAVE to download the program. THUMBS DOWN for this item.

This is no good

vrobinp1024 September 5, 2013

So I thought I was getting a program disc to put on my computer. Not the case at all. It takes you to MS Cloud where you can use the programs there. It says you can then download it to 1 computer, but does not tell you how. I now need to hire an IT guy to do it for me. I want to be able to pop in a CD and have it walk me through the download.

This product is deceptive packaging; do not buy.

nightflyer600 August 27, 2013

I purchased this product believing that it came with a CD, so I could reload it personally if it somehow became corrupted. The product comes in a box, suggesting that there might be a CD or a USB drive in it. It does not. It is merely a cardboard box with a slip of cardboard containing a product key. Then, you must go online and download it, just as if you purchased it from a website, and downloaded it. This product is deceptive packaging, and you should not purchase it. Further, Office 2013 is no significant improvement over Office 2007.
