This is the best after shower product I've found. It leaves my hair with a shine that lasts all day without making it too oily. It smells great and gives my hair a subtle and clean smell. It's not actually "glittery" but it does really increase shine.

I've been using the OGX liquid pearl luminescent serum for a little while now, and honestly like how it makes my hair look and feel. My hair can get dull and a little frizzy, especially at the ends , and this serum really helps smooth everything out without making it greasy. That was my biggest concern, but the texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly .

I wasn't expecting much but it looked so pretty I had to try! It didn't feel great to put on, then left my hair with a strange, greasy film. I half wanted the reviews that said it left tons of glitter in their hair to be true, unfortunately for me it wasn't. I would've prefered glittery hair to having my hair be greasy again right after a shower. Overall, I still had fun trying it but probably not worth the money

Where to begin with this one, well let's start with the luminescent part first. I bought online assuming the luminescence would be shine from the serum and that the shimmery look was from the bottle itself. That is not true. There is a boatload of glitter in this stuff and I feel like a teenager again. What's worse is the incredibly potent smell, it's strongly resembling flowers I guess? I could deal with both of those issues just fine if the serum was actually quality stuff for my hair but it's really not. This is unlike any other serum I've tried as in it's really not serum at all. I think it's some kind of watery goo that holds the glitter. Anyways it's awful and I don't recommend to anyone. That being said I love this product line and they have other serums that I would highly recommend.

Very disappointed. I thought it would be a serum that would help with detangling and shine but it was just like water that did nothing. Didn't help with shine at all.

Worst hair product I have ever bought. This hair serum has no oils whatsoever in it. It does not add shine or moisture to my hair. This is more like a gel

I've always been happy with ogx products but this one is more a gimmick than a serum. To start with it is a gel and not a serum in the traditional sense. The hair doesn't absorb it as it's made of Glycerin. Well the first ingredient is water, then glycerin. The sparkles do not transfer from your hands to the hair so the "mermaid" effect is not apparent. It does not smooth hair but rather leaves it feeling like you've combed 80's style hair gel through it before drying. The entire product has a drying effect, if you place it in your palm and rub it in it dries out and leaves a tacky feeling before completely evaporating.
