I couldn't get this to connect to my Roku TV. Found out that base model Roku TVs do not have bluetooth connection. I tried aux cables, but the sound was horrific. I couldn't connect with an optical line because this soundbar doesn't have that option, so I started the return process. I received a refund and was told not to return the soundbar. So, I put it above my headboard and just use the bluetooth with my phone while playing games, listening to books, or scrolling through social media vids. The sound quality has been okay for what I use it for.
I recently purchased this Soundbar to upgrade the sound from my rv TV, and it's been okay overall. The sound is definitely clearer than the built-in TV speakers.Setup was pretty simple and didn't take long, which I appreciated. The design is sleek and fits nicely over the TV without taking up much space. That said, the bass is a bit underwhelming, and at higher volumes the sound can feel a little flat. It's not bad,but it's not super immersive either. If you're looking for deep, room filling sound, this might fall a little short.Overall,I'd give it 3 stars. It's a decent basic sound upgrade, but it doesn't fully deliver that theater like experience.
I would only recommend this product for the value. This soundbar is good for watching sporting events. When watching movies or tv shows; however, it feels like I'm watching an old kung-fu movie where their mouths didn't match the words.
Did not improve the sound. Did not give any “stereo” effect, it wasn't clearer, and it woyld only go half as loud as the tv speakers. It is very low-priced, but still wasn't worth it. The two stars is only because of the low price.
Was looking for a cheap speaker, found this one, and for 20 bucks I got one working speaker and one that doesn't work, and when I tried to plug in the DC cable the port sunk into the frame/soundbar. Not worth the effort to return it and get another one that may also be broken, so I'll just use it until I decide to get a proper soundbar.
I went through and read all the negative and positive reviews in regards to this product. "You get what you pay for" was not taken 100% into consideration. So, for ANYONE WHO IS UNSURE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT: YOU GET WHAT YOU'RE PAYING FOR!! It is priced that way for a reason, the reason being that it is crap. don't wasted your time or money.
I opened it placed it near the TV and threw away the box. I went to set it up the next morning, but when I press the power button it pushed all the way through. thankfully I can power it on with the remote, but it's extremely small and more likely to get lost. unfortunately my Roku TV will not connect to this sound bar. I've tried the RCA and line in connection and neither will work. I'm frustrated because I can't send it back
I am really sorry that I bought this. It's not even worth the money that you pay for it. The volume max is out where you can barely hear it now it won't even come on so I'm returning it.
This thing sounds awful, much worse than the stock speakers in my inexpensive FireTV which are pretty bas to begin with. I didn't expect much for $20 but this is not worth the plastic it's made from.
As much as this sound bar was exactly what I wanted, I had no opportunity to try it out as I had to return it due to internal damage. Some heavy internal item was loose inside, noticed upon removing it from it's box. Sadly Walmart didn't offer to replace it with another so I am left with a cash refund. I'm guessing in hindsight that this item was offered at a low price to clear the seller's warehouse.
