Made perfect bbq ribs. Need a grill cover
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took the 3 of us about 30 minutes to put together. Cleaning seems like it'll be a breeze everything you need to clean comes right out. Has a smoker tub and a bigger grill tub. Seems to be a good value for what you get. Seems pretty sturdy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good smoker/grill. Easy to control temperature. Just wish you would offer a cover for it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Creates a whole new world to cook and smoke your meats. Really easy to assemble, use, and clean with plenty of room to smoke several different things at once allowing you to have a perfect bbq. Your going to love the way this steel smoker looks in your yard and you'll be looking towards hearing those flames popping under a nice brisket or chicken breast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great smoker grill combo. You can use wood chips or charcoal it's really your preference. It did take a bit to get it assembled because some of the pieces were bent so we had to try to hammer them straight. Once we got it together we had to season it. We built a fire in the side box added some wood to that and cooked some bacon on the grill. We also took some of the grease and spread it on the inside. Really helps to get it initially seasoned. We got this in time for the fourth holiday which was great so we were able to make pulled pork. It turned out really well. However it is a combo so you can also use it to grill. We've made kebabs in it and a pizza as we have a grill plate for small ones and it turned out pretty good but a bit overdone just need to adjust where we place it. Those are a learning curve on the grill but we were happy with the versatility. The firebox is easy to clean out and the smoker itself is easy to move since it's on wheels. It's very sturdy and the handles are durable. Really happy with this.
The best smoker ever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The assembly and design of this Oklahoma Joe smoker was well-done, very intuitive even for beginners. The fire box was big, bordering on almost too big, and the cooking space was spacious to out alot of food on. I did have to keep adding more wood than planned just to keep it smoking for many hours. At the end though, meat came out great with lots of flavor. Overall this smoker is easy to use with a fairly good design. Seems durable as well and I look forward to cooking more meats on it this summer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband is so excited for this product! It took him 30 to 45 minutes tops to put it together. Directions were very easy to understand. We are used to only running a plugged in smoker so this was a whole new atmosphere for us. there's a lot of learning to be done but excited to see and learn more and more about this smoker!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I give this smoker a 3.5/5. It's a great starter offset that is on the affordable side. It allows you to try to learn an offset smoker without breaking the bank. The assembly was straight forward with clear directions. The downside is it's a more affordable smoker, so if you buy this thinking it's going to be like the 1000 gallon offsets your favorite YouTubers have, you're mistaken. The metal can hold the heat, but is not thick enough like the OJ Bronco barrel smoker. So you're going to lose some from opening the door on it. There's room for DYI improvement like some sealing for the tank to keep smoke from leaking out. All in all, good purchase.
NOT Oklahoma Joe quality - think metal Oklahoma Joe Label - Charbroil Quality. Fire Safety - poor No grease drain The upper-left tack weld has popped off, broken, and can cause serious harm to children, the pitmaster, and others in the area. Ease of use - was okay Build quality - cheap Lid fit - minor leakage around the lids pictures included are from the first and only cook.
