One of the best ways to precook your food. The anova holds your food at the temp you preset until you are ready to eat. So convenient. You can precook meat for a party and enjoy your guests. When it's time to eat, just remove from the anova a quick sear to finish off and your done. Makes perfect tri-tip!

I have had several of these. This one was easier to clamp on, the controls were nicer and it did a nice job controlling the water bath.

The required paid subscription to use the app is outrageous. I also found the documentation to be poor. I had to find a video online for a different model to make it work.

bought as a Christmas gift for my son...he loves it. Took a steak out of the freezer and cooked it to perfection...exact temp throughout! Shipping was superfast...

This is now about our third sous vide machine. We love cooking with it. Our new machine is far easier to use than our prior one.

I cooked some Axis deer steaks with it and it cooked them to a perfect temperature and was not chewy. It took about 6 hours, long and slow. Very tasty.

I have gone through 3 other brands which cost must less and after opening the box I could immediately see the difference in quality. My only suggestion on this model is that the temp dial should be better labeled for temps instead of dots between main temps

I love my fried food, so I was skeptical about this, but I couldn't be happier with it. I've cooked bacon with basically no mess at all (put a piece of bread under the basket and it soaks up all the grease), I've done chicken breasts, frozen breaded chicken strips, french fries,and grilled ham/cheese. All turned out great, super easy clean up, no mess, no oil. Awesome. Did a steak, it was overcooked, but that was my fault for leaving it in too long. My only complaint is I wish the timer had a louder or continuous ding/buzzer. Hard to hear unless I'm in the kitchen when it goes off. Other than that, I love this thing and highly recommend it!

Every time you pull open the door the body of the entire appliance tips toward you. To prevent the tipping you must put your hand on the body of the appliance and hold it in place while you open the door, possibly in the path of searing heat. The idea of dumping 400° food down someone's front was too much for us to even consider plugging it in. Returned, bc I'm not willing to have it glued to my countertop to make it safe to use.
