Excellent Rod at an Excellent price
This Okuma rod is perfect for my Okuma reel, perfect length and weight. Also, a very nice price for a high quality rod. Perfect amount of eyelets and very east to break apart for storing in the back of my truck.

Great all purpose fishing rods!!!
I love this rod!! It has to be one of the best all purpose rods ever. I initially bought this for catching panfish, but it is just a little stout for bluegills. However, I fish some spots that have a ton of vegetation and this rod paired with a decent spincast fishing reel loaded with 8lb mono has no trouble pulling them out of some very heavy cover. These rods have plenty of flex, but a decent enough backbone that you can toss a fair amount of weight if needed, they are light enough in action to throw a 1/16oz slip weight and slip bobber quite a ways out. Being 7'6" length helps with the casting distance. I liked the first one so much I bought a second one. i have not caught a big fish with one of these rods, but have pulled in big bunches of vegetation while catching a yellow perch that swam into the weeds before I could get it to the top of the water and it handled that just fine. I really like fiberglass rods, they are just about indestructible unless they are being intentionally abused. Awesome all purpose rods!

Probably the best salmon rod.
These are great rods. The triangular foregrip is a game changer that makes fighting a fish much more secure. Well worth getting. These are the 7' 6” versions which are great for boats. The 8' 6” version (862) are also great, but a little longer than is comfortable on many boats.

Needed a longer rod and I really like the 7' version of this I own. Great flexibility and sensitivity. Well known reputable manufacturer for much less than other retailers.

Buy this rod and Smile to the Bank
It's perfect for some medium duty fishing .. I can use this rod with my Omega Pro, or my Penn 49.. it's a well balanced rod, that will give a St Croix rod a run for its money ! as soon as I finish this review, I'm buying another one!
