Customer Insights: Rated 4.3/5 from 30 reviews.
Solid reel with smooth drag. Line counter is accurate. Confident it will serve well as a dipsey trolling rod.
Smooth reel, good drag system.
Arrived in a timely manner. Good quality reel.
Awesome reels. Smooth, fast, and the drags work perfectly
exactly what I expected
Excellent prices and service. Delivery was quicker than expected!
Great reel , well made
I bought these for lead core fishing. If you plan on using this for lead, be aware you can't fit too much backing along with 10 colors. That's OK for walleyes but a little short if you are doing Salmon. 8 colors is a better fit in that case. Quality and drag are on par for a mid priced trolling reel.
I ordered two cold water reels they came sooner than I expected and ata very reasonable price. The reel are of good quality for the price
Okuma convector series was sold out so I thought I would try a couple of these reels.Nice looking, well built reel, EXCEPT for the drag system. I opened the drag all the way and it does not change until you rip out about 6 feet line then it needs tightening (about 4 turns) before it tightens drag, then it gets super tight again. The drag system is not smooth like the convector reels. I used these with 5 colors lead core on boards but will have to use them for down rigger reels where I don't have to adjust drag to let line out. Very disappointed as they were twice the money as the convector series reels that I use for salmon fishing. Twice the money, less quality, therefore poor rating.
