I've been using Olaplex No. 4P Blonde Enhancer shampoo for a few weeks now on my bleached/lightened hair, and in many ways it's become a go-to for keeping my blonde from getting brassy. The purple toning helps neutralize unwanted warmth after a few washes, and I definitely noticed my hair looked brighter, cleaner, and fresher compared to regular shampoos. It lathers nicely and feels gentle — which is a big plus if you're like me and try to avoid overly harsh sulfates. After rinsing, my hair feels soft and manageable; it doesn't feel stripped or overly dry (something I've experienced with other toning shampoos). My only mild critique: if I leave it on too long, or use it more than twice a week, the tone can edge slightly grey-ish or cool. So I stick to once every 1–2 washes to maintain a soft, natural blonde rather than an icy tone. I'd recommend it for anyone with bleached or highlighted hair who wants to keep brassy tones away without over-drying their hair.
Great toning results from this shampoo! Any purple shampoo will have drying tendencies but this one is less than many other brands I have tried. I would purchase it again.
i love this purple shampoo, it's the best i have used so far. it took all the braziness out of my freshly bleached hair, i recommend it to everyone that loves their blonde locks of hair.
Excellent lather, but it smells like clay still not a Huge turn off. Mainly, it removed a ton of orange buildup in my blonde hair from iron water. This is a must have if you want blonde hair, but have well water.
The purple works! You dye your hands temporarily so be careful how often or how long you use it. Very pigmented!
Item arrived quickly and in good condition. bought on sale and love the quality of the product. Going into summer as a blonde with some highlights this purple shampoo helps keep my highlights popping. would purchase again from here.
Olaplex is my new favorite - all of their products are wonderful - the toning shampoo takes brass out without freaky color results... shimmery ash, no blue/purple "tint."
This products does not work any better than other purple shampoos. I prefer Shimmer Lights which is less expensive and makes my hair shinier. The shampoo is very dark purple and will turn your hair purple if you leave it on too long.
Was ok on my hair, nice shine but my hands were stained with the deep purple tint; had to really scrub with nail brush to remove the color every time I used the shampoo.
I bought this to treat myself. I was using the Loreal Ever Pure and I wanted to get something bougie. So, I got this. Unfortunately, it dried my hair into a stack of hay. It stripped my hair! I hate it. I have to go back to the store and get my old, cheap faithful...Loreal.
