Olay Active Hydrating Cream Face Moisturizer, 2.0 fl oz

I haven't worn facial moisturizer in 5 years because I always broke out and it made my pores clogged. I recently saw this and tried it and now This is the 3rd time in a row I've bought this, it's light on my face and doesn't make my skin greasy. Love it!!!

It does the job every bit as well as the creams that cost 3-4 times as much - even the same brand! It is the optimum mix of moisturizing and gentle to the skin. I believe that this is the original facial cream that helped Oil of Olay build their reputation and brand. And it remains every bit as good.

I've been using this since I was a teenager ( about 18 years now) and I absolutely LOVE IT! I use this every day religiously without fail. Every time I attempt at trying something else ( because why not) I always throw it out and go back to this face cream. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. I love how the cream really soaks up really well into my skin and leaves it feeling moisturized all day long. And I also love the subtle feminine rose scent to it. I love that it's pink too. I honestly can't say enough good things about this product. I also use the active hydrating night firming cream too. I use that religiously as well. I'm always getting compliments on how nice my skin looks - everyone is so shocked when I say I am actually in my 30s! And I owe it all to Olay! I really really REALLY hope they never discontinue this product.

I have been using Olay Active Hydrating Facial Moisturizer Cream (Original) for well over 20 (maybe 30) years, and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. I am over 77 years old and I still do not have any noticeable wrinkles. This cream keeps my skin soft and moist, but NOT greasy or oily. I use it as a day cream either by itself or under my makeup, as a night cream by itself, and on any dry patches of skin I may get elsewhere from time to time. This cream is rich and thick and a light feminine shade of pink in color. Do not confuse it with Oley's other facial creams (mostly they are white creams) in similar packaging but not the same as the "Original". I know skins are different, but I highly recommend this cream.

So even though this is old school it has only gotten better with the years. I still find myself going back. I use this as a daytime moisturizer. It's very light and soft on the skin. It gives you such a glow your skin looks so vibrant, youthful and it's just so simple. I will recommend it every time.

The best face cream ever! I've been using this for over 20 years and my skin never looked better!!! I love it and it works! There's another one that looks like this one and it's for night time. It's not the same. I tried it and it didn't keep my face moisturized.

I've been using the original Oil of Olay facial moisturizers for about 40 years. I think they were actually more expensive back years ago. They're certainly very affordable compared to their newer products. I do use some of their newer moisturizers too but rarely because I find myself reaching for their original products instead. The only noticeable change I can tell in their original products, is the container change....that is all. I always found the bottle to be handy also but prefer their jars. It doesn't matter to me if it is day or night or what time of day it is, I tend to use this product after I wash my face. A little goes a long way. I also believe it is better than most expensive products. I like the light aroma, the consistency of the cream, and how it makes my skin feel soft and clean.

This may not be a bad moisturizer for some people, but it just does not seem to do much for my skin. I was expecting something better from Olay. Of course, we all have different skin types and react to products differently. I just do not see any kind of positive results from Olay Hydrating Cream on my skin. For me it seemed there is very little moisturizing and the scent while not unpleasant (rose) it does seem to be a little strong when you first apply it to your face. The price was reasonable which for me was the only good thing. I do recommend it because like I said we all react differently and maybe this will work great for someone else.

I was disappointed with the product. I have been using Olay since forever -- using different types as my skin age changed. This cream had a different texture %26 smell than before so I just tossed it %26 bought something else,

Following the Olay cleansing of my face I have recently used this particular Olay moisturizer and was reminded of why I don't use it. I don't know if it's just me and my skin but I just can't. It does not provide enough hydration for MY face so after applying I've noticed some dry patches and it just doesn't leave my face looking smooth and clean but seemingly just the opposite. So me personally….won't be applying this to my face again but it may work different on yours.
