Olay Sensitive Skin Eczema Therapy Face Moisturizer with Colloidal Oatmeal, Fragrance-Free, 1.7 oz

Item of Olay Sensitive Skin Eczema Therapy Face Moisturizer was purchased for female family member who has eczema. She likes this moisturiser and uses it some of the time. Her main moisturiser is a watermelon type moisturiser which makes her skin very soft and nice. A problem with this watermelon moisturiser is that Eczema does rear it's ugly head and she has to use something else, which has turned out to be the Olay Sinsitive Skin Eczema. She is very happy with this product and does recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sooo I was pretty excited when I received the Olay “Sensitive Skin Relief Eczema Therapy Cream Colloidal Oatmeal Skin Protectant". My skin gets pretty bad during the winter into the beginning of summer so I was really hoping this would give me some relief and let me tell you, it definitely did! It calmed my dry, itchy, red skin on my hands and my face. I also love that it's fragrance free, as my skin, especially my face, is extremely sensitive and I just hate fragrance in general when it comes to my skin products. Another thing I like is that it's lightweight and not greasy at all, it also dries pretty quick. I deff recommend this for people with eczema or really dry skin in general. It's a true life saver. I have very mild eczema and my 15 year old son has a more moderate eczema. We both tried the product. I assumed it would work well for me with mine being very light spots and it did. My son's I was a little more skeptical about. He gets it pretty vad on his hands and uses a prescription cream. He tried this and his hands cleared up in less than a week. This was amazing to us! We have never found anything that works this well and fast on his eczema. This product will definitely be in our household in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a promotional sample of Olay Sensitive Skin Relief Eczema Therapy Cream Colloidal Oatmeal Skin Protectant from PINCHme. At first glance I liked the packaging making this look like an upscale brand instead of a typical Aveeno product. Upon opening I smelled it and while there is no added fragrance there is still a slight, but not unpleasant scent similar to fragrance free body lotions. The cream is thick and creamy and has a nice feel to it. It seems to be like a regular body lotion but much thicker. I have included a picture of it on my face to give you an idea of the thickness of the protectant before it is rubbed in. It does not feel oily. After applying to my face I always feel a bit of a burn/tingle for a couple of minutes. I am unsure if it is a chemical my skin is reacting to or if it is supposed to have a sort of cooling effect. The box I received my sample in did not contain any information on ingredients other than 2% colloidal oatmeal and not to ingest the product or put it in the eyes. Usually packing would also tell me what to expect such as “cooling to the skin”, etc. Once the cream dries it no longer has that slight cooling / burn to it. My face is not greasy once the product has dried, but rather has a sort of dry powder feel to it. I would actually prefer it to feel less powdery since my skin is very dry. As far as the eczema portion goes I have been struggling with spring time allergies that affect my already very dry sensitive skin. I'm not sure that this product has improved my eczema/itchy areas but it definitely has not made it worse like other creams in the past have. If anything that initial cooling / burn feels good on irritated areas. This product would be even better with an spf.

I've been using the Olay cream called "Sensitive Skin Relief Eczema Therapy Cream Colloidal Oatmeal Skin Protectant" for a few weeks and I immediately saw a great improvement in my face skin. Since the first application, you feel the difference: the skin is more soft and smooth at the touch. I have extremely sensitive skin and because of eczema my face easily gets irritated and with red patches on the cheeks. This cream helped reduce the redness and lay a protective layer. The white cream is without fragrance, the color and the smell are similar to other oat-based products. The texture is thicker than a normal moisturizing cream but is absorbed fast by the skin. I would suggest changing the lid to a more sturdy one because it seems that can easily break. It comes in 1.7 oz. The packaging with its simple and pastel-color design reminds something that comes from nature and trustful. I included the Olay cream in my daily sensitive skin therapy.

It didn't irritate areas of skin that are prone to eczema. I used it immediately after showering and it didn't cause any discomfort to eczema. It was helpful. The thickness of the cream is not my favorite, especially in the summer but I guess most eczema creams are thick. I recieved this product free from pinchme.
