OLD BAY Hot Sauce, 5 oz

I absolutely love this sauce and I found a crazy way to enjoy it. I has putting peanut butter on some sourdough toast and I saw a jar of hot honey on the counter. "Hmm, I just wonder…" I put Old Bay sauce on the peanut butter and it's amazing. We use this sauce for everything, and hot peanut butter butter on sourdough is a winner!

Surprisingly, first found out about it when I saw it and tried it at the hospital I work at. Didn't have anything that needed hot sauce so I just put a puddle on my plate. It has a familiar taste/hotness, very similar to (the big Louisian "T" brand) or maybe the XtraHot version of the big "F" brand (rhymes with tanks;-) Since one persons "mild" is another persons "hot" I would guess it is ~2000-4000SHU (Scoville Scale). Hey McCormick, have an official number for us??? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ship to grocery stores soon!

I missed out on this the first time it was offered because it sold out so quickly. Not this time! I ordered it immediately when it was offered again. This sauce is outstanding! I can't wait to douse this on everything. I can see this working great for Bloody Marys, wings, oysters...you name it. Can't wait to use this on the seafood boil I am doing tomorrow. Highly recommended!

Tried to get it when it first came out but due to high demand it was sold out everywhere. Put myself on the waiting/email list to wait patiently for the product to return knowing COVID 19 may impact this item. Today, I got the email. I appreciate McCormick sticking to their word and allowing folks who subscribed to be able to order. So excited to stash this away for a Christmas present! :)

As a large family including triplets, we love to cook and experiment in the kitchen. Since I am a Maryland native, our entire family has grown up with McCormick seasonings and Old Bay. Our oldest child sent a huge jug of the hot sauce, and it was an instant hit! We've done OB buffalo wings, Salmon and crab cakes and boiled shrimp marinated and brushed with the stuff and so much more. Whoever came up with this is pure genius and I am clapping carefully with my OB hot sauce Bloody Mary in hand. Can't wait til more is in stock!!

I gave it a 5 star in anticipation of sometime (hopefully soon) being able to buy some for myself and my sister-in-law. She is a total NUT for Old Bay. With how popular this seems to be McCormick you would be crazy not to make it a permanent line and distribute it to grocery stores. Hope you have it back soon (it has taken a long time to restock) and reconsider keeping it in your line of products in grocery stores.

I'm in the midwest. Michigan to be exact. I was tipped off about your hor sauce by a friend in New York. Devil of a time finding it reasonable but did manage to hook a good sized jug of it. Now I'm totally hooked! I put it on eggs for breakfast and Bloody Marys when the sun sinks under the yardarm. McCormick would be making a big mistake pulling this product because, even in limited quantities, this sauce has developed a big following. Most of us grew up with McCormick products, especially OldBay Seasoning. This Old Bay Hot Sauce just takes it over the top!

I am a hot sauce junkie and use some form of sauce for every single meal. For me food is a conduit for the hot sauce. Well Old Bay hot sauce is my new sauce when I eat crabs or shrimp. It is a great flavor and I bought a number of bottles. This will be a staple amongst my regular hot sauces. Please keep this this sauce as one of your products!

Love this hot sauce but the price is way to high for what it is. perfect heat for me and a lot of flavor.

Feb. 23, Picked some up at local ShopRite in Monmouth County, New Jersey. No surprise it's an instant classic. Delicious Old Bay flavor balanced with an enticing spiciness (very mild heat). Fantastic on crab cakes. Can't wait to use in a batch of Bloody Marys!
