OLD BAY Kosher Hot Seasoning, 2.12 oz Can

I received a sample of this product in exchange for an honest review. This spice blend is great! I don't eat shellfish so I'd never tried Old Bay before; I had no idea how versatile it was. I added it to potatoes, fish, and chicken, and it was delicious on all of them. I can't wait to try it out in even more recipes. It has a great flavor but isn't excessively spicy.

This is the Old Bay seasoning that I didn't know I needed. It's got the same flavor as traditional Old Bay that you can't get enough of, but with a little heat that makes it all the more fun to use. Not "burn your mouth" spicy, but just enough to give it a kick. And it also works on everything—seafood, chicken, fries, deviled eggs, popcorn, veggies, you name it. Definitely recommended if you like a little heat!

Melted some butter on the stovetop, threw in a handful of minced garlic, and gave a couple of shakes of the seasoning and it made a quick and easy butter sauce to go with my salmon! The Old Bay Hot Seasoning gave a nice kick to the salmon without it being intolerably spicy, and I look forward to experimenting with other types of seafood. I can see this pairing very well with sweet shrimp over some rice😋

My family are already big fans of traditional Old Bay so we were excited to try the hot variety as a free sample for our honest review. The hot variety is very flavorful while not being too hot to discourage everyone from trying. We've used it on seafood and french fries and it was a great addition. We noticed that the product seems kind of wet – it clumps a bit and it takes a bit of effort to get enough product to come out of the dispenser. Overall, we would purchase this product again and would even maybe like to see an extra hot version!

I thought the product was quite tasty on my hot wings. I didn't feel as much heat on my lips, but there was definite spice. This seasoning goes well with chicken and fish. If you are looking for a spice to burn your lips, this isn't it ( in my opinion). However, this seasoning is definitely a crowd pleaser for its spiciness.

I was given Old Bay Hot Seasoning free in exchange for review. I tried it on chicken tenders I prepared for myself and my daughter. We both found it to be more mild than hot. The seasoning did have a subtle addition to the other seasonings used in the breading, but all and all I wouldn't consider it a must have for my spice cabinet.
