All my seafood was delicious and wonderful while I received this for free I have bought this for myself in the past and I will continue to buy it. It actually works well on more than just seafood. I have used on chicken and steak and other things that I just want to be a little more tasty.
We made a crab boil for our parents,a small one. We dumped the entire container of old bay in and when I say it was delicious...it was delicious and amazing! No need to go out and spend time at a restaurant, this will make your crab boil amazing right at home! Can't wait for the big one!!
I sent Old Bay Seasoning to try out and provide an honest review. I decided to make a shrimp pasta Alfredo dish and added the Old Bay Seasoning to season my shrimp and added some to the Alfredo sauce. It was delicious, better than just adding salt & pepper.
Having never tried Old Bay before this was very good. I'm not a seafood person so I tried it on chicken and the flavor blew me away. It has a robust flavor but definitely not overpowering. I will for sure buy this product again. I also would like to try this on pork chops.
Old bay tastes great on many meats. I have used it fish, and sea food, and chicken. Wow, It tastes good on it all. It gives more flavor then your regular seasoning. Has 0 fat or calories. I absolutely love how the back gives you recipes on how to make 3 meats.
Old Bay kindly gave me this seasoning for free so that I could review it. This seasoning was a great addition to my weekly dinners. It gave my chicken great flavor and a little kick without being too spicy for young mouths. I know Old Bay is usually meant for seafood, but I'm not a huge seafood lover. So, I decided to use it to season my poultry and even made a homemade Chex mix. My favorite was adding it to some air popped popcorn and it made a delicious healthy treat. I really love how convenient the top spout was to either sprinkle or spoon out the Old Bay. I would definitely recommend this seasoning.
We have used old bay for years, its the best seafood seasoning! The newer variety (i dont know what they changed) but the formula is great, no clumping at all. Used this to make a shrimp boil the other night (a family favorite) and had great classic taste!!
Although I'm not the biggest fan of seafood, I decided to try the recipe on the back of the Old Bay Seasoning container for a little get together I was throwing. The hot crab dip was quick and easy to throw together as I had everything but the crabmeat in my house. I served it with crackers and warm French baguette bread as it suggested on the package. It was delish! Even I enjoyed it!
I received this complimentary can of Old Bay. It has been a staple in my house for many years. I previously had an issue with the new packaging, but the one I received to try the lid did stay closed. We are not big seafood eaters in my house, however occassionally we will have seafood boils. I also like to put Old Bay on Fries/potatoes.
I'm not a big seafood eater but you can use Old Bay for other foods too! I season corn on the cob, frozen or canned corn with it and some butter. I do eat fresh water fish such as tilapia, walleye, crappie etc. it is great melted into butter and put on the fish prior to baking! We also add it to cornbread, or cornmeal for breading on chicken, fish etc! My picky kids 5 and 3 love it and so does my husband. I will say it seems to take a bit more than recommended to get the flavor I desire, but I like not having to open 5-6 jars of different seasonings and guessing how much of each I need!
