Great!
This Review is for : Old El Paso Green Chiles Refried Beans. - To me - Old El Paso taste better than the other brands of : Traditional Refried Beans. The Green Chiles Refried Beans are special treat. Also - Old El Paso products have, a longer stored refrigerator life than the other brands.
This brand of makes the best refried beans. More like homemade
The can came so damaged that I can't even open it either end.
There was ZERO chillies in this!!!! There was purpose for this purchase...it fell WAY short!
Totally disappointed with this can of Green Chile's Refried Beans. Usually buy Old El Paso Refried Beans and wanted the extra flavor of green Chile's. Only one small piece found in this can. I won't buy this kind again.
We've been big fans of the Green Chile Refried Beans forever, but we had chicken tacos and when we heated them up, they were just weird. Very watery, little to no flavor and this bizarre smell of the can, hardly any green chiles at all. Serial number was 024221 2B 18:25 and in date until 14Jul2023 - FF 24. Same markings on both cans - threw them out. can't figure it out.
I don't know what was done to the recipe but the refried beans with green chiles taste like complete garbage now. They have a medicine or chemical taste that makes me want to gag and ruined my recipes the last couple times I used them. I thought initially i just had a bad can because they were in the cupboard a while (but weren't expired) but just used a fresh can as part of a homemade mexican pizza i was making and now my entire pizza is trash! Don't buy these!!
The last 2 cans I purchased had a terrible chemical taste and did not at all taste like beans with some green chiles. My dinners were ruined as a result and had to be thrown away. Definitely NOT buying again.
