This sauce was surprisingly good. I usually don't care for canned enchilada sauce but this was good. It isn't spicy and has a nice, mild flavor. I usually make my own sauce but this is a good alternative for days when I don't have time to make my own. It is delicious on enchiladas and would be great on nachos. I will buy again.

In fact, if we're having Mexican, Old El Paso will be a part of the meal, with their refried beans or taco shells or enchilada sauce. I have a chicken enchilada recipe that I've made for years and everyone loves it. It makes a smooth sauce with just the right amount of spiciness and great flavor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made our Sunday night dinner and this sauce was perfect for my twice cooked chicken enchiladas. Its not spicy so this allowed my kids to enjoy it too. I have tried green sauces in the past for this fish but hands down, this red mild sauce was everything. Literally no leftovers after dinner.

I use this and all my enchilada recipes has a great taste. I actually use it in the meat itself and then pour across the wraps before I put them in the oven comes out really good. Works with most any initial fill out of recipe. I highly recommend this.

There's is a very light but noticeable spice tingle on the tip of my tongue, which is okay. After having eaten enchiladas from Tex-mex restaurants in town several times and now using this sauce to make my own, I can officially say this is cartoon sauce. Very underwhelming, too sweet, too vinegary, and too watery. I was a little embarrassed about the finished product but my family ate three servings of the enchiladas. They also had refried beans on their plate so it covered up most of the unpleasant taste. I used to eat this sauce about 15 years ago and I remember it having a distinct taste but after today, I'll never purchase it again. Very disappointing.

Cans arrived badly dented. The picture does not even Refi how badly dented. Very disappointing. I tore the labels to see if the debts were on the seam.

Something changed, the flavor is not the same from several years ago. My pallet is sensitive to changes in foods we used to buy. I can taste the changes. I will make my own enchilada sauce going forward. This was terrible. I made 4ndozen enchiladas for guests and I was embarrassed to serve them.
