Old El Paso Street Taco Kit, Carne Asada Steak, 11.3oz

What can you really say? It's a kit containing tortillas, spice blend and a chipotle sauce. Just add some meat and you have a quick weeknight meal. Not what I would call authentic street tacos but they were still pretty good. I must say though, I LOVED the chipotle sauce that it came packaged with. I have searched the local grocery store and the website only to be disappointed that I can't seem to purchase the "Creamy chipotle sauce" in a stand alone package.

My husband picked this up on a whim and are we ever glad he did. Simply delicious and will be a regular feature in our meal rotation going forward. I'm anxious to try the other varieties as well.

We didn't use steak in them, we use chicken. tasted great The kit works nice and taste great

Love this version and the chiken version Wish you would sell just the spice kit, you should also seel the sauce for both kinds. A pork version duck and turkey version could work also as well as fish and shrimp. Oh and a taco salad version, a enchilada version This stuffs pretty good.

My family loves this kit! I could probably figure out how to make the seasoning, but having it prepared is a time saver! I'll be sad if they stopped making it.

We tried this a few months ago and have it every week if not every other week! I was skeptical at first but I think what really won us over was the chipotle sauce. We're always looking to see if the chipotle sauce in this kit is sold separately.

In Spain for team building and unit cohesion training for the United States Marine Corps. After work and going through the beautiful city streets and hotel plus up, it was suggested I'd try this on side of the road. Great, nice tortilla shell, greasy but not to greasy meat, on top of shell and sauce, yours was wonderful BTW, with cheese. Never had nothing better. Thank you all and lovely hosts. Much love. We bought this kit becaue we love street tacos. It comes with great packaging inside and ample portions of all the items. The meat tasted great. The tortillas are excellent. The sauce smells ketchup like and has more of a "pumpkin spice" flavor going on than anything you would want on your street taco. That said, we are eager to try the chicken street tacos and seasoned beef ones too! (we also reviewed the Chipotle Chicken Bowl).

Overall, this was a very easy kit. The spices were lacking flavor and the creamy chipotle sauce tasted like pumpkin spice. I tried to fix it by adding mayo, but it must have cinnamon and sugar in it or something because it's way too sweet.
