Old Fashion Claxton Fruit Cake, 12 oz, Food Gift

fat content is not very high. cake is light, not dark.soft, moist, yum! I bought 2 of these , picked them up curbside, and started eating one before I got out of the parking lot..packed with fruit and nuts. if you don't like fruitcake, that's not an MP, that's a YP. 😐

I gifted this fruitcake to a family member who found it a little on the sweet side I purchase this annually (since childhood) and because of the recipe emphasis on “fruit” without the cake like texture will continue my annual purchase. The cake tastes like fruit and nuts and over the years it has maintained “true” to it's namesake Albeit it is a bit on the sweet side but by far the “best” fruitcake I have ever enjoyed as much

Bought this so my children could try a fruitcake...of course they hated it. However I loved it. Wish I bought more for myself.

DELICIOUS fruitcake! Always the best and best price! Just the right balance and mix of nuts and candied fruits! I know not everyone likes fruitcake, but if you do, you will not regret buying this brand and this smaller size is perfect for 1 or 2 people if your entire family does not like it! This is the only brand I buy every year now! I highly recommend it!

Great quality product. Great dense, moist and texture. It's packed with fruit, and not overpriced, like the Fancy Expensive brands. It's a good snack for holidays.

I've eaten this brand's seasonal fruitcake. At least one if not more per winter. it's always been good and a good value. I cant get to my regular grocery physically now. Since I shop online at Walmarts, I decided to order my groceries from them also. I don't understand why the most popular and commonly sold fruitcake anywhere is not in the local Walmart! But because I love fruit, I ordered it from one of the 3rd party sellers. By the time it finally arived it was partially smashed and dried out snd tasteless.

A many decades long-time holiday staple, no more. Found a small-animal bone in loaf. At the time this happened, which was just before the 2025 holidays, left an immediate phone message for the company to notify them, and notified W-a-l-m-a-r-t, who as usual, were very professional, and great about the matter. Forgot all about a review. Sorry, was just very upset, and disturbed, at the time. I still cannot get past it to ever buy their product again. Sorry. I realize this kind of thing can happen when working with a food product; but, it happened to me, and I just cannot get past it to ever buy the product again; which is unfortunate, because I always loved these little fruit cakes at the holidays. I wish the manufacturer well, and to do better for 2026.

Way too much fruit and not enough cake. It's not the way they used to make it. Disappointed.
