Old Fashioned (DVD) directed by Rik Swartzwelder

This movie has a great message. All should watch and take to heart; respect one another, practice goodness, work towards God honoring pursuits in life...worth far more than momentary fame or fortune!

With so many movies out there that introduce bad morals based on values that our country was not founded under, it is great to see a movie that introduces the way that Christians are called to live their lives!

Great movie!

I totally expected another same old type of movie. But I pleasantly surprised it was engaging and very thought provoking. Acting of main characters weren't cheesy and the meat of the story was believable. I really liked the message without it screaming at you. I totally will recommend this movie to my family and friends. So much better than so-called ‘Hollywood love story'. Worth watching to the end!

Great Movie and a very good price.

I've been wanting to see this movie since I heard about it coming to theaters but was too busy to go. I waited for it to come to Redbox but never saw it and no one carried it in stores. I even looked at local christian stores. I then proceeded to look online and finally found it here on Walmart.com. Was happy to find that I could get it for six dollars through Savetronix (a Walmart distributer) and no charge for delivery. The DVD came before the time expected. The case is cracked on the bottom which is fine. I expected that it may be when I saw it was sent in such a small flimsy envelope and had no problem with this since it was such a cheap price anyway. I watched it on my laptop computer first and it played just fine. However when I watched it in my Blu Ray player it it got really fuzzy in a couple scenes for a few seconds. Not a huge deal but I hope it wasn't damaged by the heat in the delivery process. Just be advised if you buy DVD's from Savetronix it's gonna be free delivery but it may be damaged in the cheap delivery process. If I do it again I'll probably wait till the weather is cooler so the heat can't damage the disk.

Really good movie but the dvd has a defective spot in it with pixelization when they are parked on the country road. It's when he gets out of the truck and it stops when they are dancing. There was actually one more spot when Amber is at Clay's door. I returned the first dvd to the store thinking it was just a bad copy but the second one did it too. A review on another site said they had compression problems with the dvd. Would really like to have a Blu-ray but it's not available. If you can live with the pixelization it's a good movie and message.

Not what I expected it to be. Totally boring.
