Old Potters Wildlife Safflower Seed, High Protein Bird Food, Attracts Wildlife, Non-GMO, USA-Grown, 50 lbs

Clean, fresh, dry Safflower Seed. I feed the birds and outdoor critters every day and must have 10 different varieties of bird food - all types of seeds, corn, peanuts in shell, nut and fruit blends. My first time trying Safflower to please my mourning doves. They do like it! So do the chipmunks! Assume the cardinals eat some too but I put it on the ground and am not sure. Whatever is left by nightfall is gone by next morning, so the raccoons like it too. Possums, foxes, skunks I don't yet know. Good seller. Purchased other quality feeds from them - all good.

Delivered quicker than expected. Packaging was excellent, seed in 2 heavy woven bags, each in it's own box. All edges taped and those boxes both inside another box. Nothing could get spilled. Birds quite happy to have their favorite seed, and I quite happy over the price.

I was frustrated with the squirrels eating the majority of wild bird food that I put out. I came across an article stating squirrels don't like the taste of safflower seeds. So I purchased a 5 lb sack (different company) and the sparrows %26 doves didn't eat it. Thankfully, I came across NON GMO safflower seeds. My bird friends love it!! Will be purchasing more.

Make sure the birds in your area like safflower seeds. They were always the very last to go when I threw multiple varieties out.

Order two 25 pound bags had to open box make payment to carry one at a time into the garage, but it was the best deal for the money.

EXCELLENT Safflower seed!! Extremely clean and my cardinals love it!! This company has the best price anywhere and ships for free. If you order the 50lb, it actually comes in a box with two 25lb bags! So much easier to handle that way!

this is a good price for a quality seed, I make my own seed mixes, I mix this with sunflower seeds, crushed corn, and millet for ground feedi g. For this Ive found this to be of great quality with an amazing price, the packaging is simple and easily accessible. The kernels are whole, intact, and amply sized. The songbirds love it, especially picking up extra belly contents for the babies to eat right now!
