Olde Thompson Black Pepper Grinder, 4 oz

First of all, I received this in perfect condition, which is always a worry when shipping things that are breakable. The black pepper is black pepper, nothing to say about that. The only thing I could think about is my mom saying she'd wish it had different grinding sizes. But to me that's not really important.

The size was a lot larger than expected; for under $2 you get enough to last for months...way more than any name brand! That size in a national brand would have cost a good $10, especially with the current inflation! The grinder and cap were easy to use and did not break during shipping. The quality of the peppercorns was good as well.

It comes really full, and kind of hard to get cranking, took me a few to figure out the top just pulls off to use. Where it goes on blends so well it was hard to see where it separated. Not a complaint, just a helpful hint. Flavor is really good.

Just a great pepper grinder that looks good in the kitchen or on the table! I will definitely order this again!

Great Price of $1.48 for LARGE glass container of WHOLE Black Peppercorns; BUT, the plastic pepper grinder part is very difficult to grind the peppercorns from the glass container.

hate new grinder but taste is awesome grinder not adjustable so much is wasted because it's just halfed. good way to break a tooth. plastic doesn't last long enough to finish botrle

The peppercorns are fine. The bottle is extremely difficult to grind and hasn't eased up after several weeks, you cannot adjust for the size of the grind and there is no indention in the cap so you can easily remove it to get out the ground pepper.

The pepper grinder is difficult to operate for someone with arthritis or weak hands. It is a two-handed operation that requires a firm grip with both hands. Also - there is no adjustment for coarse/ fine grind.

This is by far the worst pepper grinder I have ever used. I had read the other reviews but I needed a grinder that was affordable for me, so I took the risk. Complete waste of money. I should have gotten a better one even if it meant paying more. The way the spinner is designed you can't get a grip on it enough to spin it, and there's a sharp edge that wants to cut your hand because you're gripping it so tightly. I figured it would be hard to get a grip if my hands were wet but even with dry hands it's very difficult to twist it. Very poorly designed. I do not recommend this grinder. I will be purchasing a different one. The one good thing about this grinder is the top comes off ao I'll be able to use the pepper corns in a different grinder. Other than that I have nothing positive to say about this grinder. Well, it's attractive enough for the table... But don't be swayed by it's looks because this grinder is junk.

The item I received did not allow for adjusting the size to grind the black pepper even though the description said the product has an adjustable grinder.
