Olfa Frosted Advantage Non-Slip Ruler, "The Traveler"

I've tried several brands of rulers, and the Olfa is the best. The frosted back prevents slips, and the gridlines are narrow, so it is easy to line up to the edge of the fabric and get an accurate cut. But at the same time they are very readable. I like the 30/45/60 degree markings for measuring angles. And the 12 x 6 in size is perfect for cutting smaller pieces.

The Olfa Frosted rulers are my favorites. I like the thin dotted lines and that all of the lines are dark. I like that there is only one set of numbers along each edge. The ones with yellow markings or numbers that start at both edges are confusing to me. The frosted design also makes it easier to see because it cuts down on the glare and reflections from overhead lights. I have every Olfa Frosted Ruler that is made and buy more as gifts for my quilting friends.

Out of the several OLFA rulers I use daily, this one is always at my fingertips when I need to measure and cut larger pieces. I love the frost - keeps it from slipping easily and minimizes the overhead glare from my work light. The lines and numbers are easy to see.

I quilt a lot and this ruler is a good size for small projects and when squaring up small quilt blocks.

If I could only have 1 ruler, this would be it! I find myself reaching for this one over all my others. It is easy to see through to line up accurately and is less slippery than others. I plan to replace some of my other rulers with Olfa!

I've had this ruler for at least a year now. It's the ruler I always go to. The lines are easy to read and thinner than other rulers I have. Highly recommend getting this ruler!

Olfa Rulers are my absolute favorite! However, I do not understand why they number some of them Left to Right and others Right to Left. For example the 6x12 ruler has the #5 on the right hand side…but if I want to cut a 2 1/2” strip, I need to turn over my ruler so the #1 is on the corner. Some rulers are numbered correctly. The Olfa rulers are concise, accurate, very easy to read but are numbered backwards compared to other name brand rulers
