Let me be honest - I haven't been to Olive Garden in at least 20 years... So, I purchased this dressing on a whim to see what it would taste like and I am very satisfied. It's one of the better Italian dressings I have had. It does run a bit salty, however. For the price, it's a great value.
A pasta salad recipe went viral on TikTok. And they used this dressing. And now i know why! It's the best Italian dressing I've ever had. Really it is. It truly made this pasta salad perfect. I'm sure and type of salad it would. If you've not had had it. You should TRY IT!
I can't change from my favorite salad dressing. Olive Garden is the best to me. At times I've wanted the Bleu Cheese or others, but I crave a Greek or Italian style by the time my salad is prepared ! Perfect ! Bleu cheese will only be a mistress ! Marinate over chicken, it will knock your socks off ! ❤️
This is a very good salad dressing and it taste just like when you go to Olive Garden. I can make a salad and it taste just like eating it at Olive Garden. It makes me very happy very tasty. Doesn't take much to make your salad. Taste good I've been buying it for quite a while and it is well worth it.
To me, it tastes a little bit different than the restaurant tastes. However, I adore it. For some reason, it seems to me that you don't need to use as much dressing. I will be buying this from now on. We do use it to marinate chicken that we are baking. .. I put a small amount in my cucumber salads.
There are only two kinds of dressing I prefer on my salads--Western and Olive Garden Italian. (I have such simple tastes) The OGI is tangy so use it sparingly. One can always add more but not substract. If you want a salad with a little kick I highly recommend Olive Garden Italian. It has a zing that wakes up those tired old veggies in that salad. If I were inclined to marinade some chicken or perhaps a little pork I might be inclined to use this for that. I haven't but wouldn't be afraid to. Just keep in mind as previously stated it is quite tangy so adjust to your own tastes.
The taste is great, what you expect, but the dressing is a little too thin and the biggest complaint I have is there is no pour stopper (see photo) under the lid, so you have to be extremely careful when pouring. C'mon, a small plastic insert in the opening couldn't cost more than a few cents.
This dressing is good in a pinch because of its consistency and price. It does taste pretty good but it is primarily made up of soybean oil instead of olive oil and contains added sugar. It contains no olive oil at all. It can work well in a marinade for chicken, seafood or even tougher cuts of beef.
I tried this after purchasing another salad dressing by this brand, but was disappointed with the bland flavor, thin consistency and lack of flavor. Will not buy again. It could use a smaller pour hole in the top like that of other dressings since it looks creamy, but comes out too fast. does not seem to coat the lettuce and other ingredients well. The Olive garden caesar dressing is much tastier and thicker.
wouldn't know what it tastes like because I never received it in my order if I did I would give a review on it I have filed several times that I didn't receive him have not gotten any word back from them so I guess I'm counting it as a loss maybe one day I'll be able to try it
