OLLY Body Serum Renew with Retinol, 3 fl oz

This serum-lotion is fantastic. I have sensitive, combination skin and this lotion not only smells amazing, but hydrates with a lovely, smooth consistency--without irritating my skin or causing breakouts. I originally purchased the full size, then this travel size to keep in my purse. Yes, I love it that much. Unlike other lotions, I can feel it actually absorb into and hydrate the skin, not just depositing oils or wax on the epidermis.

I was on the fence about purchasing the Renew serum, especially online since it was basically a blind buy and also my first time ordering from the Olly skincare line. Personal care items are expensive nowadays and decided to try the trial size. I'm soooo glad I did it because it smells heavenly! I tested it immediately once it arrived and the reviews are right! The scent is definitely unique and nothing like I have tried before and that's what I love about it! It's unisex and not overly perfumey or floral. It does bring a sense or calm and relaxation. The serum feels slippery (like it should) and not waxy or low quality. I'm buying the larger size and can't wait to try the other scents they have available.

I haven't emptied the bottle. It has a subtle scent. It feels like a moisturizing lotion like cocoa butter lotion but slightly lighter. I haven't seen any results yet, but it's only been 4 or five applications at night.

It's such a strong fragrance the tiniest bit is nauseating. It's not a bad fragrance, it smells nice (a bit musky for my preference) but it's as if an entire bottle of perfume was poured out into my body with 1 tiny pump. I had to wash it off immediately. way, way, WAY too strongly scented. No way on this earth it's good for your skin. Will never put this straight on my body again. I think I could use it for the bath potentially. I've used plenty of scented body lotions %26 serums, this one is over the moon, heavily scented. Do not buy this for skin care. It's a body fragrance in a pump form.
