OmieBox Lunch Kit for Kids - Blue Monster Design

I ordered this lunch box for my 7 year old son. He absolutely loves the vibrant colors and the fact that it can hold a lot! He can't wait to use it for camp. It's pretty sturdy and looks like it will last throughout his primary school days. Happy customer from the Caribbean (Trinidad and Tobago).

We love our omiebox. It holds the perfect amount of food for my 3 year old and cuts down on containers. It's also leak proof and so easy to clean. I can pack leftover dinner or yogurt in the thermos which is nice. Also nothing gets left behind during lunch since it's all in one and everything is offered to my child.

The design is practical and well thought out, making it easy to pack balanced meals for my child. I love that it keeps food nicely separated and maintains the right temperature for hours. It feels sturdy, high quality, and perfect for everyday school use. Definitely a great investment for busy parents!

We bought two of these. The size is great for my six year old's packed lunches, but the thermos does not keep food warm in either of the boxes we purchased. I followed the directions in prepping it, and two hours later, whatever is in thermos is no longer warm.

Love this lunchbox overall. The seal is very difficult to install and if you get it wrong the lunchbox leaks. I had to go on YouTube to find an influencer video to teach me how to properly install the seal.

I think this was more of an influencer buy than a well researched one on my end so that’s on me. But didn’t realize there would be so many parts to this kit that all neee to be hand washed! More than any other lunch box we’ve used. Yes the hot compartment is nifty and keeps food warm but the inserts, the sealer lining, all need to be hand washed. Unfortunately we don’t have time to do that every night or prefer not to.

Pros: great to have bento style with a thermos option Cons: pricey, thermos doesn’t stay hot for long at all, and the bento sections aren’t leakproof so you can’t put yogurt or sauces anywhere but the thermos. And it’s not dishwasher safe!! You have to clean all pieces and the gaskets all by hand. When you have two kids that’s a lot of work every night End result- not worth it. You can get waterproof sections on Amazon and a thermos for ten bucks at Walmart

I wish I could have returned this for the cost but we tested and used it. The seal doesnt stay good so I have to reinstall that with each use. The divider on the side is not a leak proof seal which is disappointing. The thermos does work well I can say and is a good size for young children. Overall not worth the money.

I wanted to really like this lunchbox after all the great reviews that I read online however I was greatly disappointed. I found out that it really works great to keep foods that have liquid hot. But it does a horrible job at keeping things like chicken nuggets, pieces of steak, chicken fillet, grilled shrimp hot. Basically, any protein will not stay hot. I have found that I have needed to pull out the Thermo completely and I am only using the lunch box portion which completely defeats the purpose of this lunchbox.

I am outraged by what I just received. I ordered FOUR OmieBoxes at full price ($214), and TWO of the four boxes were used. I am absolutely disgusted. One of the used boxes was missing all of its accessories (thermos, container), and to make matters worse, there was still food inside. The second used box was damaged, broken, scratched, and clearly showed signs of wear. The other two boxes appear to be sealed—I was so disturbed by what I received that I didn’t even open them. I have already submitted a return request through Walmart. While the order was purchased and fulfilled by Walmart, the seller is OMIELIFE. Are you seriously telling me that your company accepts returns and then repackages used lunchboxes for resale? This is completely unacceptable. I spent $50 per lunchbox for my children, and instead, I received used, damaged, and unsanitary products. I’m shocked and disappointed beyond words.
