Installation
Was not able to start self tapping bolt in a 19/64” hole,, drilled out to 5/16” and was only able to get three to self tap, had to through bolt the rest on the first bar I installed. I purchased a DeWalt 3/8” -16 tap/drill bit combo. Drilled 19/64” pilot hole and then used the combo bit in a variable speed battery drill motor using lowest speed and cutting fluid, every hole came out perfect and was fast. Would recommend combo bit over manufacturers method. Also replaced the self tapping bolts with hex bolts.
