These crossbars are a great addition to the truck. Will be using them to carry kayaks and other long items which won't fit in the bed of the truck. Love how they are adjustable to 3 different heights. They were super easy to install and they are quickly able to be removed with the T track system. As most automated car wash places won't let you thru with them on.
Absolutely love these crossbars, easy to put together and install, perfect fit for my Retrax T- Slot cover, look amazing and sturdy as ever. Very well made!
I didn't realize they don't lock. I'm a little worried about them getting stolen. Other wise there fine
Good quality, but word to the wise, they only come in one size for a full size truck, 70", if you have a mid size truck you will need to cut them down to minimize the overhang.
Look and feel for the product is very good. Great product at about $100 price tag. Finish machining disappointing, bolt heads don't fit cleanly in all slot options. Took a while to find a way to get the bolt heads into the slots. Instructions appear to be written by someone who speaks English for a fist language - and that is the end of nice things to say about the instructions. If you take out the junk products from certain Asian countries, these are about the worst instructions I've seen in many years.
The rack/crossbar system seemed to be very good quality, but did not work for my situation. RealTruck site said it was guaranteed to fit a Ford Maverick, but the box label clearly indicated that it is for a full-size bed. I called RealTruck before opening the box and the customer service rep double-checked and said it was correct model number for a Maverick. However, the crossbars were way too long and stuck out beyond the sides of the truck. In addition, my tonneau cover does not have removable end caps. This rack mounts differently than most other racks. I could not get the 8-inch metal bar into the t-slot, so it was impossible for me to mount the rack. Probably could have bought standard t-slot bolts to mount more traditionally if the crossbars were not a deal-killer. RealTruck was very good about a free return and quick refund to my bank account.
Crossbar length is 70.5"; tonneau cover width is approximately 58". Your website image displays the crossbars product as "PROPORTIONALLY CORRECT" to the width of the Jeep Gladiator tonneau cover & truck bed. What is installed on my Jeep Gladiator does not match the website image! My estimated proper length of the XRS Crossbar should be approximately 61" - 62". The XRS Crossbars was still the obvious choice in spite of the MISREPRESENTATION of the product image on your website (see provided images). To correct this problem, approximately 8"-10" needs to be removed from each XRS Crossbar with an estimated cost of approximately $100-$200 using a fine toothed band saw blade at a machine shop. I have not decided as to whether this will be performed or not. My concern is possible damage to the powder coat finish of the XRS Crossbars when performed. In conversations with Tech Support "prior to" and after the purchase/installation, this discrepancy was identified. Prior to the purchase, I was assured the XRS Crossbars was the proper fit for the Jeep Gladiator by a customer service representative. I suspect there was a reluctance at some level of the "REAL TRUCK" organization to properly address and correct this product discrepancy, to include the advertising misrepresentation. Nevertheless, I like the structural durability/functionality of the XRS Crossbars and would highly recommend installation of this product to a customer with a "Full Sized" Pick-up Truck Bed. For those prospective customers owning a Jeep Gladiator, I would recommend the individual evaluate fitment prior to making a purchase of the XRS Crossbars. Please pass this this information on to the appropriate department within your organization. Order#: 5566414
The metal on the cross bars is too short in the slots. The small footprint of the hex head bolts start to pancake the metal when tightened making it impossible to move things after being tightened. The welds look pretty sloppy up close. I also bought the Go Rhino toe downs with this and they are already rusting after 2 weeks on the truck. All in all, pretty disappointing. I have removed them from the truck and will be attempting to resell them to someone.
My roll up came with fold up hardware, when i contacted customer service they sent me the same hardware kit. My roll up needs the "S" clamps. I still have not been able to install my cover and getting very frustrated. Nelson
