OmniCore Designs (-10F to 10F) Mummy Sleeping Bag, Sizes (Reg & Tall), Multi-Down Fill (650-Fill-Power-Down + StratusLoft) with Compression and Stuff Sack

I had the privileged of being asked to review the OmniCore M-3D sleeping bag. When the bag arrived I thought there was no way a sleeping bag could be in that small box. I was pleasantly surprised. The bag is lightweight, compact and can easily cover someone 6 ft 8 in tall. My 6ft 7in son was comfortable. The 'mummy" design can be a bit constricting for those that are a bit claustrophobic. However, it is intended to be snug. There are no instructions in the box but the description on the Walmart website explains every last detail. The quality of this bag is top notch. The zippers are heavy duty and all the extras have been thoroughly thought out. The filling is a down/alternative down blend. There is a compartment at your feet to store items and hidden compartments for other items. Once you are in the sleeping bag, you can adjust the neck and head strings and Velcro to your liking. In extreme weather this bag is made to completely protect you from the elements. The bag comes in a nylon carrying bag with an adjustable top that will keep out dirt and moisture. There is another large mesh bag for storing the open bag to let it air out to keep the integrity of the components. Any novice as well as the most seasoned camper will appreciate the quality and thought out design of the OmniCore down sleeping bag.

The OmniCore Designs M-3D -10°F / -23.3℃ Ultra-Lightweight Multi-Down Mummy Sleeping Bag (XL) is made well. This bag is lightweight enough to roll back up and put into its small bag easily. The seams are well sewn and the zipper works smoothly. The bottom is gusseted for foot room so you don't get stuck in it while moving around. The item comes with a small bag to roll it into a mesh bag that is quite large, I assume this is to wash the item in (I did not find any information for this bag with my item) but that is what I will use it for as it will keep the bag from wrapping around the drum in my machine. The stuffing is very lightweight so not extremely comfortable for me to sleep on without additional padding underneath, however this is what makes this so very easy to roll up and travel with. The bag is very warm. We have the XL. I am only 5 feet 4 inches so did not require that much room, at the bottom, but it was nice to have anyway. The top of the bag has a hoodie type head cover that can be cinched around your face. One of the greatest unexpected features that was the chest height utility pocket - great to keep your cell phone or other small valuables in while you sleep to keep it safe and close (see my photo for this). The fabric is soft to the touch. While rolling this up, I suggest folding it in half lengthwise first and squeezing the air out of it tightly as you roll. Overall, a very nice product. No cons that I could find.

First let me say that this OmniCore sleeping bag is huge! And even though it's lightweight it is warm and comfortable. The head of it is shaped like a mummy lol and the head is doubly insulated. My daughter who is 5'9" wrapped up in it and said that there was a whole lot of room left in it which could accommodate two slim people :-). It's just that roomy! I'm not an outdoor person so I will be covering up with while sitting and reading or watching TV because it feels very warm, better than my blanket. It zips on both sides so it's easy in and out. It comes with a small bag to carry it and a larger mesh bag to let the down breathe. Any outdoorsman or a camping trip, you would do very well to have this to layer with plus it comes in two sizes; regular and the XL which is what I have. To sum it up I LOVE IT and totally recommend it.

The mummy sleeping bag is extremely warm and cozy. You feel like a slug bug in a rug just toasty and comfortable. It is extremely easy to get in and out of however it is slippery so care must be used.Although it is extra large It was a little snug for my husband who is 6 feet and a little stocky. Other than that it is perfect for camping especially and extreme temperatures. It comes with a great carrying case too so you don't have to struggle to get it in the original bag

We just moved from our RV to a real house. Problem was it is unfurnished and we had no prior furniture to put in. To make things fun for our girls, we told them we'd be camping out in our new house for one night until we got them beds the next day. They were very excited but I only had two sleeping bag and needed three. I got this mummy style light weight sleeping bag for my youngest. At the last minute, it was my oldest that ended up using it. She loved it. She said that there was plenty of patting to make her comfortable even though she was lying on a cold tile floor. She said she was warm even though the house got down to 45 degrees during the night when our heater went out. In the morning, she pulled her hands out and was walking around with her sleeping bag on as a jacket. It was hilarious. There's a hood that she used as a pillow. There's also a pocket at her feet that we don't know what it's for. She thinks maybe for warmers. It compacts easily back into its carrying bag. Super small and light for her to carry. Now I need one of these for us all.

I am so excited to get this sleeping bag and can't wait to get out in the cold and try it out properly. As you can see in my pics there are two bags that came with this sleeping bag. The one is the compression sack that the sleeping bag came in. It keeps the sleeping bag in a nice small container for your back pack when on the trail. It does not take up much space. The second bag is a mesh bag and it took looking up online what it was for. There isn't any explanation as to what it is for. After looking it up it is basically a decompression bag. You are to take the sleeping bag out of the small one and put the sleeping bag in the large one to allow the down in the sleeping bag to decompress and fill with the air it needs to provide the insulation properties of the sleeping bag. The size of the bag is real nice. I am not a small man and was very pleased with the size and the fact that I didn't feel like I was a stuffed sausage when I climbed into this bag. Now for putting the bag back into the compression sack, it is easy as pie. Just push it in without rolling it up and it goes in very easy. I will be happy with this sleeping bag for years to come.

This bag is for my 6'1” husband and Grandson who camp a lot. They like to go out in the winter and do some of the klondike campouts. (not me). The bag comes with a heavy duty mesh bag to keep it in and to let the sleeping bag breath and decompress the down. They care about the upkeep of your bag, how cool is that. For use, it comes in the stow bag, which is really small, but it fits in there. Great for on the go and packing in- How amazing, it is easy to get back in there too. Great idea for both bags, I appreciate the thought that went into this bag. Ok trial time: The bag itself is very lightweight, makes you think it wont keep you warm. It has two stash pockets, one in foot area, and one on the inside chest area (think cell phone and flashlight). It has zippers on both sides and the zippers have the pulls on both the outside and inside. One zipper was flipped wrong and took some doing to turn it to work correctly but we got it. Didn't think we would end up like the mummy feature so much, but it works great, and isnt too restrictive to make you feel you could get out if needed. We got the XL to make sure it was long enough, and it is more than enough, my 6'7” brother would still have room Zipped up and inside of this bag its toast warm and we are sure it would work down to 10 below, but it hasn't gotten that cold here yet. It has only been down to low 20s last weekend on the camping so far, it worked great and toasty for that. We also think it is well designed (except for the one zipper). They are both eager to try this out on the next Klondike camp out that's colder, and this is definitely one to keep, and think about replacing the other bags with. This was very easy to stuff back into the carry sack, and to keep it all together in the larger decompress bag. We usually air ours out a day or two before packing them up anyway, and this is handy. Im very impressed with their product and thinking of getting the camp chairs too now.

I'm excited to review the OmniCore Designs M-3D mummy sleeping bag because I think it's awesome. First of all it's crazy how tight is compacts for how warm and fluffy the sleeping bag is. It's a mummy style which means it hugs the shape of your body for extra coziness and warmth. It is very, very warm so perfect for cold winter camping or when you are just cold at home and your blanket is not cutting it. I feel this sleeping bag could really help reduce a heating bill at night if you were to sleep in it during winter months. My small dog quickly got into the bag and passed out so it seems it is pet approved as well. I was also surprised how light weight it is for its warmth factor so it would make a great sleeping bag for hiking and having to carry along on foot. The 3D foot box is especially nice since in most mummy sleeping bags my feet feel a little cramped. I'm a plus size woman of around 250lbs and I didn't feel too constricted in the regular size bag. The zipper works easy and I don't have any fears of it breaking down or catching the material. Highly recommended.

The OmniCore Designs M-3D -10\u00B0F / -23.3\u2103 Ultra-Lightweight Multi- Down Mummy Sleeping Bag (Regular & XL), weighs about three pounds and is the most lightweight yet warmest sleeping back I have ever laid in. It has many features that make it ideal for camping or hiking overnight. It rolls up small enough that it can be stored easily on a backpack or tucked away neatly in your camping gear. It also has a hood attached to the top that has a pull string that allows you to enclose most of you face, tucking away your face protecting it from the cold night air. There is also an interior pocket approximately 3x5 in size for you to put your valuables into while you sleep. All these -totally awesome features plus it is also made to withstand temperatures as low as -10 F/ -23.3 degrees, which means that anytime we go camping I will not have to worry about waking up cold in the middle of the night. Another thing I really loved about the OminiCore M-3D -10/u00BOF / -23.3\u2103 Ultra-Lightweight Multi-Down Mummy sleeping Bag (XL) is how comfortable it is, it feels like you are laying on clouds. Unlike a traditional that always feels like you are laying of slippery concrete, a best. I could go on and on how wonderful this sleeping bag is, but just go get one of your own. I have told all my friends and family, once you have tried this sleeping bag, you will too,

When I first laid down in this in my living room I thought no WAY this would work well in the cold. But then as I continued laying in there I felt warm. Don't let the lightness of this sleeping bag deceive you, it can definitely hang in cold weather. I can't say I won't bring an extra blanket, but I can say that I won't bother buying any other sleeping bag for myself for cold weather, because this holds up well! And I also don't over heat in it ether (unless you have a warm blanket in there with you) so it's great. Definitely would work for people under 6 ft, I am 5 ft and obviously works great, it isn't meant for people that are super heavy though, it's somewhat narrow, but my husband and I are both normal weight so we don't feel claustrophobic.
