I really love that it's so big plus portable so we can take it whenever we do family trips this summer. I also love that it's waterproof so we can put all of our cell phones etc in here and not worry about them getting wet or dirty. This will definitely come in handy!
We do alot on the lake and river in the summer here in N. Idaho. And if you are anything like us this is an absolute must have. We do alot of kayaking, floating, taking the dogs swimming, all kinds of stuff and this bag will keep all the important things safe. Plus its big enough to fit everything we take in one easy package. No more soggy doggy treats. Wallets getting wet, phones getting ruined, you know the deal. Its also cool that is see through. If the phone is ringing, i can just look to see if its important call through the little window instead of digging through the bag with my wet sandy hands..
I received this item from the Spark Reviewer program and was asked to review it. The OmniCore Designs Peak-A-Boo Floating Rolltop Waterproof Dry Bag is a very useful product for keeping your items safe and dry. I have to admit that I didn't understand how it worked when it arrived. I had to look it up online to understand how it worked, no instructions are included. However, it really could not be an easier, just roll the top band of the bag 3-5 times and snap the buckle together…that's it. When you snap the buckle it creates a carry handle. The bag also comes with a strap that can be clipped on to make a shoulder strap. The bag is made of durable waterproof polyester material and has a full length clear window to allow the items inside to be visible. The is tubular in shape with a round flat bottom…basically, it's shaped like a rolled-up sleeping bag. The bottom of the bag has a carry-strap and there are two D-rings for attaching the optional shoulder strap. The bag comes in four sizes, 10L to 40L. I have the 40L, when laying flat on the floor, the bag measures approximately 24”L x 17”W….it's a very nice size. This bag has a lot of potential uses…basically, anything outdoors(beach, lake, ball games, etc) to keep your items clean and dry. The bag floats also….a very nice feature if you are taking your items on a body of deep water….wouldn't it be nice to save your $500+ phone if your kayak overturns. I really like this bag and I would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking a well-designed, durable waterproof bag for your outdoor recreational needs.
Made of durable vinyl and a coated nylon fabric with the seams sealed to make it waterproof, this bag turned out to be a great day bag for the beach. I'd wanted something that would be easy to carry and would hold a change of clothes and keep everything dry. I opted for the 10L bag and it carries enough while not being so big that it's difficult to deal with. This also has a great shoulder strap and handles which made carrying it easy. My main concern was with how much a 10L bag could carry and couldn't find much reference online. I was able to fit my water socks, a t-shirt, swim trunks, a standard bath towel (24"x44"), my camera, and a bottle of sunscreen (see my attached pic) and that pretty much filled it up while still being able to easily close the bag. You should consider a size up if you need to carry more. I wanted to test how waterproof the bag was and it seemed to hold up fine even being submerged a bit with everything in it and everything stayed dry and the bag will try to float. I tried submerging it with my hand inside it for a couple minutes and a small amount of water did manage its way in which seemed to come in at one of the seams. Since it floats, this typically wouldn't be submerged as such but just wouldn't count on it remaining 100% waterproof. Overall, it's a really nicely designed bag which is great for a day out at the beach, pool, or water park and will protect your items from rain, splashing, and even a drop into the water. The carry strap makes it easy to carry over the shoulder and hardware clips and clasps are durable. Would recommend.
My husband and I love to kayak, go to beaches and especially enjoy waterparks. Last time we went to a waterpark, I remember having to store everything in an expensive locker and so we didn't have any pictures with us :( This bag is the best for this purpose. Keeps items dry and waterproof. Due to the current covid situation, havent been able to go outdoors much. But tried it at a local beach as those have opened now. Worked great. The only downside was that I found it to be a little bulky for us two. But checked online and found out it comes in various sizes.
teste it on my pool and this works! totally waterproof and the 20l literally keep my kids, and wife clothes dry! I like the window on this so much I like it that much. So much lighter than a PVC baga, And pack down better for storage. great but HIGHLY VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Pros: Well built, solid construction. Roll over ties seal securely and easily, but also works as a nice handle. Folds flat and takes up little space. Some nice branding and tasteful logos. It's an attractive piece. Durable construction, will last a long time for the cost. Cons: Seems a little smaller than I expected, will fill up fast.
I want to get the bad thing out the way first. I didn't receive any instructions on how to use this bag. There is a website to visit, but I prefer having written directions to see how to operate an item. It is a good sized bag with a clear panel to see everything that is in the bag. It is waterproof. I took it to the beach and had no issues. It comes with a shoulder strap that can be used if need be.
I've been wanting to try something like this for when I take the kids camping or to the beach. So when saw this I couldn't wait to try it out! When it first arrived it came with two tags, but neither of them had directions or any information on how it works or seals. There's no zipper or velcro or anything so I was confused as to how it could possibly close and actually keep things dry. So I just googled it and got the info that way...kind of a hassle just to see how a product works, lol. So you're supposed to roll the top, then clip it and that seals it. So I filled up my tub and tried it out to see if just rolling it actually seals the top and makes it water proof. I put a glass dish in it and put it into the water, left it a minute then came back to see if it stayed dry. It did not. It wasn't soaked, but water definitely got in. So maybe roll it down even more before you clip it? I was definitely disappointed by that. But it's still a good little travel bag. I'll probably end up using it camping for dirty laundry or something else. Something that wouldn't be a huge deal if it did end up getting wet. That was my experience and opinion, hope it helps someone else make an informed choice!
Without instructions it took quite some time to figure out how to use this "waterproof" bag. after 3 attempts at filling it with stuff like towels food, clothes, batteries, etc, I still am not sure if it will protect from water. It did float in bathtub, but some items did get wet, maybe i'm using it incorrectly. I don't know because it came with NO INSTRUCTIONS.
