This cutting mat is time saving because of its round design. I use mine for piece work on blocks up to 12 1/2" square, and I am very pleased with my purchase. I have a larger square shaped rotary mat, but this size round shape I find to be perfect for almost all of my block work. I have used mine to cut out 2 quilt tops so far and I am pleased to find it to be a good quality product.

small rotating mat
This is perfect for my sewing needs. It's made for smaller patterns. sure beats moving the fabric or your body around to complete the cutting.
