Exactly what I needed. Super happy with this product. It works great with my older MacBook Air (2019). I was debating between a wireless Bluetooth keyboard vs wired and ended up going with this wired keyboard since I don't want to deal with changing the batteries on a wireless keyboard.
This is a great little wired replacement keyboard for a Mac. It does feel light, and a bit cheap, but once you set it down and begin typing on it, you don't really notice that. It has the Mac-specific keys and layout you see on an Apple-branded keyboard. The look/style of the keyboard is also very Apple-like (silver and white), so it matches for current Macs. No idea how long it will last but, on first inspection, I would say this is a great value if you want a compact Mac keyboard that doesn't require chargeable batteries. When I first plugged it into my Mac mini's USB-C port, it didn't do anything. So then I plugged it into a USB-A port and it immediately worked. Then I switched it back over to the USB-C port and it worked OK there. Not sure what that was about but all is fine now. The wire on my keyboard measured about 64 inches (162.6 cm) long, which should be plenty for use at most desks. The pamphlet says the length should be between 150 and 170 cm, so mine falls within that stated range. It would be nice if this keyboard had one or two spare USB ports on the underside, the way some wired Apple keyboards do, so that you could plug certain accessories into the keyboard itself. However, this OMOTON keyboard does NOT have any spare USB ports on it. It does have little blue status lights for power, caps lock, and Fn lock, though, which is nice. One of the top-row function keys takes a screenshot, which is handy. It also has a lock key at the very top right that, when pressed, immediately secures your Mac behind the lock screen, requiring the admin password to unlock.
