Omron Pmllpad Electrotherapy Long Life Pads

As a retired RN, I was more than hesitant to try this product, my husband bought it for me because I suffer from chronic pain. I have used it on my back, my hip, my sciatic nerve, my deltoid, my upper arm, and my elbow. I have to adjust the strength depending upon the area but I have not been disappointed. I have found that when nothing ELSE helps my back, this stops the pain. I had my husband use it for back pain and he was astounded at how well it worked. I would absolutely recommend this device to someone with pain. It is imperative that you follow directions but I believe it is a great over the counter product.

This additional set of pads is nice to have. The system works wonderfully.

I agree with TinaGA's review. The pads are the weakest part of this design and the cost of the borders on prohibitive considering that they cost almost as must and the control unit. Would I not buy this product because of that? Hardly! The unit and technology itself works just like a professional device at the doctor's office but without all of the bells and whistles. It does work as advertised. What I'd like to see in the very near future from Omron? Either a reduction in the cost of the replacement pads, the unit shipped with 2 sets of pads so that while one set is drying the other set can be used or low-cost disposable pads. As previously stated the system is great but the pads are with weakest part of the design. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again!

I thought I would love this item. I was so happy to get it, then the so called "Long Life" pads wore out about the 20th use. The unit only has 3 settings and 3 speeds. The pads are stated to last over 100 uses. NOT TRUE. Then to really eat your money it cost half of what the unit costs to get replacement "Long Life" pads that sadly do not last as long as they should either. Omron does not care about the product they produce. I have contacted them twice and as expected no reply.

These pads get the job done, but it is a stretch for Omron to say they last 150 times. Even doing the maintenance they recommend, (washing and overnight in the fridge), you'd be hard-pressed to use these for 100 times.

The device does a great job and is very powerful but I bought this because it specifically says last up to 200+ uses but it doesn't. Nowhere close to that. I bought this product as a gift for my husband and he used it weekly and so after about 24 uses I needed replacements.

I used these pad about 5 times when the gel came loose from the pad. It was unusable at that time. I am not happy with this product at all. Also, the Electro Therapy unit looses it's battery potency fast. I am not happy with this product at all.

The pads are great but the units battery went out the first few days. I placed a new battery in the unit and it does not work. Disappointed because tens unit was helping but at the cost of replacing the unit I cannot afford. So disappointed.
