I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and adjustability of this stand. The Stand bag was a nice touch too. For a lightweight stand, this one is very good.

Bought this for my granddaughter who is just starting out playing the Saxophone. Folds up easily and she can use it either standing up or sitting down.

This is the best of the cheap portable music stands. It's very lite, very portable, nice case. A good product for the price if you don't expect too much.

I recently took up playing the trumpet again after some 25+ years. It wasn't long until I found myself needing a music stand. I saw this one at Walmart. The price wasn't too bad. So I ordered it. I expected it to be like the old, rickety, fold up stands we used to use when I was younger. But I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this stand is, in comparison to those of the old days. Sturdy and more versatile. Quite a improvement over the years. And it came with a nice case. I may not know much about music stands, So, maybe its not the best; but it is perfect for my needs.

We are new to the music lesson scene; our 6-yr. old needed something to hold her music. I didn't want to spend a lot, nor get anything to big for we have a small home. This music stand is great and my daughter can put it up and take it down herself. Im not a professional musician so I don't know what is out there, but we are extremely pleased with this music stand!

My son is a beginning music student(Clarinet). I wanted to get him a stand that wasnt too expensive, but didnt want one that was of poor quality. I saw a few on ebay, at a good price, then decided to check Walmart since they seem to have everything. Let me tell you, it is awesome! Its folds easily, has its own bag, my son has no problem tightening it up,(to lower it or raise it). we have no problem with it not holding a music book. I did put my really thick websters dictionary on it and of course it went back but, seriously, who uses a music book that heavy. Get it! you wont be disappointed. Easy to set up and sturdy.

I bought this music stand for my daughter, who just started playing the xylophone and drums, also known as the bells. She needed a music stand. I ordered this one because it comes with a carrying bag. With the xylophone, drum pad, stands for both, drum sticks, and mallets, this music stand is more efficient for her to transport between school, babysitters house and home. It is very easy for her to fold and unfold. And with the bag it is easy for her to carry.

For a tall person you have to pull legs up so not flat on floor and then not as stable on floor, especially if have binder of music on instead of just paper.
