On the Basis of Sex [DVD]

Excellent movie, perfect depiction of an inspiring woman. A must have for any film aficionado.

I've always respected Justice Ginsburg. I've been a fan of hers for decades and fully appreciated cinema's depiction of her in the movie "On the Basis of Sex."

I was struck by the ways the U.S. has and has not changed in the past 75 years.

Havent watched yet, but in good shape and no scratcges...will watch soon!

I received a good DVD on Ginsberg.

This is a great movie, and historical. This was such a good movie, and to see the history behind it was a double pleasure. I had no idea this was who it was when I started watching it, and to see in the end, showing real life footage of her today of who she was and is gave me a new found respect with some of our elected members of government. Wished it would have included where and what she's accomplished in the last 2 decades too, but would have been twice as long, which I wouldn't have minded. My 14 year old daughter loved it as well. This is an AMAZING woman who has overcome numerous times a "Man's world" and literally, historically paved a way for women to have a voice in being their own person, to be able to think for themselves, do for themselves, and to shatter glass ceilings outside the home. We could have watched this for another 2 hours, it was that good. She found her purpose, and still today is upholding her purpose and her passion ... thank you Ruth for paving the way for me and my daughter to no longer be suppressed by societal men, and to not only dream, but to have the ability to achieve it without permission from a man, or have credit being taken for our accomplishments by our spouse or other men because woman were measured by not much more then just a homemaker, and to be obedient to men when we are quite frankly much more talented in the overall balance emotionally, mentally, and physically of our Human species ... my opinion anyways.
