Omg I love this protein bars

Tastes just like a doughnut

These are delicious bars. I use them as a late night snack myself, but these and the Maple Flavored one is useful as a Breakfast meal/treat.

These taste great not gritty like other protein bars

Great to have something different and good tasting. I think the expectation of eating a substitute for a maple glazed donut is not realistic and to be honest, as an eater of 100s of different protein bars, all protein bars have limitations when you want high protein, low carb and healthy options. This bar tasted great and had a pleasant after taste that lingered in my mouth for a very long time. I admit I was hoping to feel like I was actually eating a maple glazed donut but reality is , is that it is a healthy protein bar - and with that in mind I was very happy. Protein bars have come a long way and I know - I have been eating them for many many years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was very sweet as expected from a maple glazed flavored donut. It also was filling when having it as a meal supplement. You might need water depending on how quickly you are chewing through this. I took my time and didn't feel the need to rush for a sip of water which means it wasn't drying. It is dense but also I would have wished the protein was higher than the carb count on this. Other than that it was pleasant.

I was really excited to try this protein bar because I am always trying to uptake my protein intake. The Maple Glazed Doughnut Protein Bar was very intriguing. I was really hopeful because it has 20 grams of protein in one bar. That is a lot of protein in my opinion. I opened the wrapper thinking it would taste like a sweet breakfast treat, but it did not. The texture was very dry and it was to the point where I felt like I needed water with every bite. I usually don't mind protein bars being a little dense, but this one really crumbled and stuck to my mouth in a way that made it hard to enjoy. The flavor was extremely strong, almost overwhelmingly sweet. However is was not in a natural or bakery style taste. It didn't really remind me of a maple doughnut. It was more like a concentrated artificial flavor that lingered. I still made myself finish the whole bar but it was mostly because I didn't want to waste the protein. It definitely wasn't something I looked forward to finishing. By the end, I was more relieved to be done with it than satisfied. I'll give it credit for the protein content, but based on the taste and texture alone, it's not a bar I would purchase. It was just okay, and I wouldn't buy another one in the future. If your are looking for a protein bar that tastes meh but packs in a ton of protein, this may be for you.

I've been eating this maple donut 🍩 bar for breakfast for a long time and loved the taste!!! So good but this new one that's out.. the updated version is horrible. You guys should have left it alone . I suggest going back to the old recipe. I WONT be buyt them anymore..

I have eaten ONE Bars for years with Maple Glazed Doughnut being my favorite. I just got my first box of the new receipe and it is terrible. I hate the taste, texture, everything. It's very sandy almost and the flavor is just no where near as good as the old receipe. WHY DID YOU CHANGE IT? I won't be buying them anymore, I guess I need to find a new bar.
