This book taught my daughter to read. Her little girlfriend was a year older and she learned to read with that book and they learned together anything Dr. Seuss does is good, but I bought it for my daughter for my two little tiny grandchildren and now she's reading it to them hopefully, they pass it down a plus definitely recommend.

I love this book because I read it to both of my children when they were very young.I read it so ofen that they learn it by heart.they are now adults .my Son purchase one for his 2 year old

Despite the controversy of who Dr. Suess was as a person, I've still chosen to introduce my children to his books because they are a classic. I fell in love with rhyming as a child and would love the same for my daughters.

This book as well as many other Dr. Seuss books are American classics and I believe every child should have at least one to help them in their learning to read process

You can never go wrong with a Dr. Seuss book. My grandson is 5 and special needs and knows almost all the words to the book.

Dr. Seuss books never go out of fashion from one generation to another. They're fun and both adult and child enjoy the tale.
