I got this remote to use on my Roku TLC TV. One thing that really grates my nerves is having to keep track of 3 different remotes for one TV. This one controls everything from one remote. It was extremely simple to set up - literally pushed one button and it connected with my TV. It can control the TV settings, the streaming channels, and the audio. The quick buttons for the most-used channels like Netflix and YouTube are a bonus. If you're tired of juggling remotes, I recommend getting this one.
The thing I like the most about the One For All URC7935 Streamer Remote vs other universal remotes is the fact that it is simple and elegant with 19 buttons instead of 30 or more. The buttons are raised and not bunched together. They are backlit too so you can read them in the dark. There are four buttons at the bottom that will automatically activate Netflix, VUDU, Hulu or YouTube. The coolest thing about the One For All URC7935 Streamer Remote is the large center OK button that can be set to a choice of one hundred different colors. You associate the remote control it is learning to a color and when you switch to control another device it changes so you know. So cool. It will control all TV's including all TCL Roku TV's, streaming device's like Apple TV or Nvidia, sound bars and active speaker systems. It has a very wide angle infrared signal to control your devices too. It runs on four AAA batteries that aren't included. The only downside is that the One For All URC7935 Streamer Remote won't learn RF remotes since it only reads infrared remote controls.
This remote was really easy to set up for my streaming TV and sound bar. I didn't have a separate streaming device so I don't know how well it would work with that. The directions stated I would have to enter a code for my TV because Insignia was not one of the speed setup settings for the remote however the remote turned on my TV without me entering any codes. It doesn't get any easier than that. For my Vizio soundbar I had to enter the code but that only took a minute or so to do. So, within a few minutes I was all setup and ready to go. The pre-programmed Netflix, Vudu, Hulu and YouTube buttons all work exactly as they should. Hit the button and the TV jumps to that streaming channel. This remote is supposed to be able to learn any function from any other remote control. I haven't yet tried that feature but if setup was any indication of this remotes function I'm hoping it will work great. I think the option to change colors on the remote ring is a cool feature. I received this remote in response for an honest review.
This universal streaming remote makes my life easier. It was very easy to set up, and should work with most smart televisions. The quality is good; I haven't had any issues with it working or losing connection to the device. I like that it lights up, make it easier for use in the dark as well. This should work on most devices, so I like that it's kind of a “one size fits all” type thing. The batteries seem to last a good while on it, which is great for a remote because it is kind of annoying to have to change them out often. The price is good, no complaints there either. All around, it's a quality product that I would recommend to keep everything in one place especially if you need a backup remote since the ones that comes with the tvs aren't always the best quality or last a long time. The shortcut keys on the remote are very handy, and are quite useful. This also can control multiple devices with one remote, which makes reasons for other remotes unnecessary. I highly recommend this remote, no issues with set up it's a breeze, and it works well.
I was looking for a remote that did not have numbers on it. I was so glad I found this One for all streamer remote. It is designed to control 1 device and have certain buttons control additional settings on alternate devices like volume. I have a streaming device and a smart TV. So I have 2 devices I wanted to control. So since this device has learning ability I was able to setup a custom config. I have a upper shield TV control and a lower roku TV control and it works well. I just had to learn when to do what and remember what device I was controlling. I could only be happier if they released a 2 device version of this remote. Until then great little remote.
My husband loves it our remote quit now he can use it we have netflix on our tv and he can stream it to watch his movies he likes and now hes talking about trying hulu and my daughter does you tube with it we dont have to run threw everything on our smart tv
Ahhh it is SO much better now just having one remote verses 3+ to work everything!! This was incredibly simple to set up and I really like that it has a Netflix button and a YouTube button on the remote. It does require more batteries than a typical remote but so far mine have lasted and this remote is working great.
I love this remote! I needed it for my daughter's RoKu. It programmed to her TV and her Roku, so now she only has ONE remote for both. It was easy to set it up with the TV. You will need 4 AAA batteries. The directions were not clear on setting it up for the RoKu, I started getting frustrated but it would not link but then I tried it the FIRST light and it would. Glad I did not give up bc I love this remote. I highly recommend it.
This small remote really works especially if you have all 3 types of smart gadgets: smart tv, soundbar and streaming device. My mistake is that I thought we had a streaming device with our ATT Uverse...sadly that's not considered a streaming device so we couldn't use it to control channels. That said, the setup was super easy for our Hisense smart tv and Samsung soundbar but I'll need to find a different universal remote that works with ATT.
My Type Of Television Wasn't On The List Of Codes So Operating The Remote Was Moderately Difficult. I Tried Operating It Several Times Which Delayed My Review. I'm Not Tech Savvy So This Product Does Not Appeal To Me. If The Streaming Apps Are Already Installed Then I Guess It's Use Would Be A Piece Of Cake
