It's a thin bendable stick like test strip that you dip up to the max line in your urine. Hold it on the black part. The test reads are fast once laid flat. I would have appreciated a better detailed guide of what part of the peri-menopause level , but I can always Google it. The product is good, works as intended, and comes with plenty at a reasonable price point.

I'm not sure of accuracy. Please go to your dr for blood tests. This is the only 100% way of knowing. Test said I was premenopausal. I was not! I went to Dr for blood tests for hormone and was fine! Please don't believe everything you buy online.

I used 2 of these so far and one was difficult to read as it appeared to be 2 lines through the purple color. The second one I tried, did not even turn out, no lines and when looking at it closely, it looks as if it malfunctioned and the paper was purple on a gapping in the area where the color should have run up the stick. I really wouldn't recommend these -they appear to be a waste of money as it will keep you guessing as you were before you bought them.

Sample collection cup was not included and I thought it gave more info than it does
