Was thrilled to find out I was able to purchase serving pieces separately for my set of silverware. That is usually the problem with bargain store sets- they don't have serving pieces. These are a great size and that price can't be beat.

The Oneida Solefield 5-Piece Silverware Set Service for 1 comes with one dinner fork, one salad fork, a butter knife, a tablespoon, and a teaspoon. I really like the simple design. It is sleek and there are no tiny patterns that get gunk stuck in them. The whole set is sturdy and has a nice weight to them. The large fork isn't too large like some I've seen. I don't know anything about this specific set, but I have looked at the Oneida brand as a whole and everything else appears to be quality made. I can't confirm if this is 18/10 stainless steel but it looks and feels like it. The pieces have a nice shine to them and a mirror finish. I don't have a dishwasher so these get washed by hand. I would recommend towel drying them instead of air drying otherwise they do get water spots. I learn this the first time I washed them, but it was just a matter of re-wetting them and wiping them down to get that shiny look back. These look great in a formal setting but can be used everyday as well. As I said, the design is simple and exactly what I like.

I love my Oneida Silverware set. Many different patterns to choose from but I have the Solefield pattern. Its very smooth and sleek. Beautiful to look at. Great for everyday use but yet beautiful enough to use for a more elegant dinner. These are very heavy weight items that fit very nicely in your hand. Highly recommend this set. The knife measure approximately 9 1/2 inches long. The larger fork is about 8 inches long.

This Oneida Solefield pattern, is just gorgeous. It has Such great shine to the finish and really sparkles. Even more important to me is the feel of the utensils in your hand. They have a nice balance when you hold them. They feel very durable, I don't see these getting bent. The knives have a great cutting edge. Not sharp enough to cut your finger but has a nice serrated edge that I think will cut through anything you might serve. The tines on the fork seem very strong. My last set of utensils had an issue with the tines getting bent which basically ruins the fork. I think all the pieces are well sized too. Some sets have a fork that is really oversized. These are just right. The thickness of the bowl of the spoon is generous. A lot of sets are cheaply made and the edges can easily get rough. Overall I am very pleased with this Solefield set.

This 5pc silverware set from Oneida is so beautiful and elegant. They're very well made and has a bit of weight to them, so you know they're of top quality. I love that they're basic yet very modern and will accustom any dining table decor l. I will definitely be purchasing a matching set and highly recommend them.

This cutlery set is very pretty. The pieces are shiny and perfectly smooth with elegant lines. I would definitely recommend this set to anyone. I haven't had them long enough to know how they hold up to daily use and washing but after a couple washes through the dishwasher, they are still shiny and beautiful. I would say this set is simple and elegant enough for any occasion to use them. There are no sharp or rough edges to hurt when you handle them.

I needed to update my everyday silverware set and researched and compared items and ended up choosing this brand because Oneida is known for quality, and this is no exception. The setting also comes with serving spoons and a butter knife. One of the serving spoons is slotted which is a very nice addition.

This set is very sturdy without being overly heavy. The shiny finish does make it a little prone to fingerprints. I did feel the actual dinner fork was a little big in the length of the tines. I liked the size of the handle on it compared to the salad fork. For general eating I did use the salad fork more often for comfort. I didn't feel any risk of bending on any of the pieces. I wish the handle size was more uniform to make it easier to use for children & adults with slightly smaller hands.
