I have only had this paddle for a couple of weeks now. I have used it 3 times and really like the feel and weight of this paddle. I also really like the bigger sweet spot which helps me control my shots and play. I am used to playing with a longer paddle, so, there is a little adjustment there. It is only a half an inch different, which isn't much, but the extra width more than makes up for that. I would recommend buying this paddle.
This paddle is amazing. Has the perfect mix of power, control, and touch. The handle is just the right length and width. I am now an Onix user for life!
This is the paddle forever one. Good solid structure with plenty of action. Get the standard because when you add the grip it will be perfect. Lucy and Matt know what they are talking about!
I stepped onto a Pickleball court in April '21 after 49 years on a Tennis court. I knew the first day I wasn't going to settle for a paddle I didn't like. I used 2 of my wife's paddle the first day - and neither felt good. Within a week I got a lesson, and the Pro who gave it had one of these paddles - and an extra (which I used). HEAVEN is all I could say; even though it was actually only my 3rd time now hitting a ball, this felt SO much better. After that lesson I went to my local Tennis store that I knew were now selling Onix - I walked in, saw the paddle, and instantly purchased it (much to the surprise of the owner - who knows me from Tennis). On that court later that night, it was everything I thought it would be in actual play. Fast forward nearly 4 months, and I have 2 of them (so when one gets wet during my 2-3 hours on court, I have a dry-grip spare), and don't think I'll ever change. My touch is surpreme, and it has more than enough power and spin potential when it's needed. Best decision I made so far in my Pickleball life - and I'm staying with ONIX in the future, too.
I received my paddle for Christmas and wheels playing the handle snapped at the top. I loved this paddle and was bummed because I had only been using a couple months. I contacted customer service and they made it very easy for me to fill out the warranty form and with a week my new paddle came in the mail. Very friendly, accommodating and gray results.
The best all around combination of touch and stability that I have seen. On top of that, I had a minor issue with one of my paddles (that was caused by me) and Onix customer service went above and beyond to help me out. Truly excellent customer service!
Excellent paddle, great power while maintaining control. Best I have played with. Two others in my group have already ordered the same paddle.
Awesome feel, great sweet spot and added power to my game!! The control and touch are surprising.
Really like the Evoke Premier paddle. Power is solid. Control is excellent. Nice large sweet spot. Balance of paddle is a little top heavy for me. Would like this same paddle with 1/2 inch more length. Overall paddle working well for me but still getting use to it.
Bought the same paddle I had been using before. I loved my old Evoke Premier but it had lost some of its pop. The new paddle seems to have lost it too. (Maybe it's me?) I did see the new one is made in China and my old one was made in Mexico. I don't know if that makes a difference. Just not very happy with it.
