I have tried various paddles and none of them have performed as great as this paddle. This is the second one of these I have owned and it continues to do a fantastic job. Thanks.
I've been loving the Summit C1 so far. The longer shape gives me extra reach without feeling heavy. It's super responsive at the net and still packs power from the baseline. The grip feels a bit like a ping-pong paddle, which I actually like. Overall, it's a solid upgrade for my game.
I bought this 6 months ago and have playing with it non stop. I'm about a 4.5 in skill level and can just about place the ball how ever I want to. I love the shape and style of the paddle. The length is great for quick hands up at the kitchen and for the hard to reach defense shots that make you take a step back or lean just out of reach. The shorter handle works for me. My only complaint I'd like for Onix to upgrade the handle strength and overall materials for the core of the C1 Summit. This shape and style of paddle could easily compete against the quality paddles of Selkirk Vanguard and the Paddletek Bantam and Tempest. Onix team, if your listening, I hope that this is something being discussed for future development, I'd be happy to be an ambassador for this style of paddle, I'm looking to start competing this year in NC and hopefully other states as well. C2 Summit?......One can only hope!
This is a new paddle I found from announce and I love it. It has a longer reach so less running back and forth. I love that I can hold it like a table tennis racket and it has a shorter handle so I'm not wasting space. This has an awesome look and design. I love playing with it! It's a winner.
Let me preface this review by saying, I've been playing pickleball for 5 months and I'm a bad player with no natural athletic abilities. . Im also about 25 lbs overweight, but I LOVE pickleball and I try hard to be better. So this is a great paddle for me, mostly because I feel more confident up at the net. The extra length has been much more helpful for me even from a confidence standpoint. I have a really great serve, and I've noticed I have less power with it, but the control is better. So it consistently lands exactly where I want it, but it isn't as powerful. If you are struggling and want to change things up, definitely try this paddle. I'm doing much better all around and have more confidence.
I am really liking the paddle so far. Great spin and plenty of power. The ping pong shortened grip wasn't an issue getting used to. Excellent price through Walmart. Saved myself at least $60 versus other stores. Totally recommend this paddle.
Arrived promptly and product was as specified. Handle is a bit short but I am getting used to it.
Have played both outdoor and indoor with both the Summit and the Summit C!... The handle on this paddle is not comfortable... The original blue Summit is lighter and better designed, but no longer available... Made in San Ysidro Mexico... No reason that the Summit cannot be reintroduced
