Ooo, packaged quite nicely! Felt so excited opening this product up. Love seeing such a clean and sleek tablet! Love the fact that he plastic over the screen wasn't plain but instead informed me of what each button and switch and key meant and it's function. Also included is a quick start guide to ensure you understand and can get the full benefits of using this tablet as well as an AC adapter plus USB charging cable that is 3 feet. Tablet is an off blue in the back which is neutral. Currently this is a family tablet meaning everyone shares it for their own reasons for example I mainly use this to read e-books and hear audio books, my duaghter (who's a toddler) uses it the most as she is curious as all toddlers are. Even though she is young, I think this tablet will do justice and is because she is learning how to type on the keyboard finger by finger. Technology isn't going anywhere so her learning to stop and start YouTube videos as well as play games helps both her and me. I have already downloaded a few games for her and still have a lot of storage left (this comes with 32 GB and even a slot to increase GB if needed). This is touchscreen (of course). The battery life is 9 hrs which is totally fair. Perfect gift for the upcoming holidays that I recommend for kids ages 2-9 or older folk ages 50+. Minimal, basic, easy to use tablet that one can use to read, watch videos, take pictures, search the web, and play games.
This tablet has so many features- front and back cameras, two front facing speakers, 2GB RAM, 32 GB storage, SD card slot for storage expansion all at a very good value. It comes with the latest USB C charger. This tablet comes with android go edition which is a lightweight android edition which makes these tablet run fast. Default apps occupy very small storage space out of 32gb which makes these useful. It comes with android go light weight apps which are very fast. You can download all apps from google play store even choose to download full version of google apps. It comes with lot of features like language translate and video tutorials. It has system level settings to control data usage which is helpful if you are trying to reduce your data usage. It comes preinstalled with walmart, sams club and vudu apps. Overall great bang for buck product. Highly recommend!
So I myself have always been proud to say that I'm not a materialistic person. Things... objects have never really been very high on my priority list, or even made it to the list. Don't get me wrong I like nice things just like the next person and what I do have I take very good care of but I'm a strong believer in the whole, "it's the simple things". However.... recently I purchased myself, (and yes I said myself) a SUPER LATE Christmas gift, a 10.1" Onn 2nd Generation Android Tablet. Let me tell you something, I feel like such an idiot for using my old outdated 7" tablet all this time. I'm a BIG fan of photo apps and I love to find the most jacked up pic in my phone and try and make it the best so this tablet is solo what I needed. Besides the fact that I'm Workin with 10.1" of screen that I can actually now see all of what I've missed, (which is fantastic) I've now got 32 GB of storage for my page upon page of photo apps... my bazillion and one photos, (and counting) plus 2GB of RAM so when I'm gettin into what I'm doin... hoppin back and forth from app to app.... goin crazy and makin changes my tech of choice can keep up without problem. WHOOP WHOOP!!!!! Anyway I'm sure your picking up what I'm throwin down. I also feel the need to let everyone know if your not tablet savy.. no worries.. setup is very basic and just in case there's a pretty detailed book that's included with step by step instructions and a phone number on the back of the box for anyone needing further assistance. Hope this helps!!!!!
I don't understand the negative reviews? It's a great tablet especially for someone like me that uses it heavily for entertainment! When it comes to road trips there's no internet and I'm going crazy in the back seat. This tablet has lots of space to hold various movies and I can watch 2 movies before it needs to be plugged in for charging. It charges fast even with me using it still watching movies. The only complaint I have is that I can't find a tempered glass screen protector for it so it only has a flip case to protect it.
More than was expected. Great tablet. Works much faster than other tablets in this price range. The quality of the device is outstanding, nice on touch, and has a good grip. Color deep blue looks beautiful. previously I had another tablet at this price range and it worked super slow, so I'm absolutely glad this one works so well. Size is also great, very comfortable to use in the car. All the apps and videos work amazing. Delivery was very fast. Definitely recommend it.
My daughters loves this tablet for watching her favorite shows and playing games, the lighting is great and the tablet feels solid it came charged and ready to go out of the box and it has a great navy color on the back. I’m really happy with this tablet and it’s functionality. Will make a great holiday gift also!
For what it is, this isn't a bad tablet. Nice big screen although it only supports 720p video. Touch feedback is pretty good. Uses usb-c so that's a plus as so do all my other devices. Accepts micro SD cards for expandable storage. Has 32 gigs of on-bored storage (about 24 gigs after the operating system and preloaded apps). 2 gigs of ram that will handle all I need it to do. It's mainly for my kids so it plays videos and their games just fine. Has dual speakers that are about what you would expect from a device like this. The cameras leave something to be desired. The are pretty much unusable. Even for a kid. But it's a tablet and I wouldn't expect the best cameras. Finding a case for this particular tablet is proving to be difficult as well. In time I'm sure more will appear though. Onn makes good budget tech. Now does this compare to my flagship smartphone, well no. But it was also 10x the price. Don't expect flagship specs at this price. But for what you pay, it's a good device. I haven't had any issues as of yet. I would recommend this if you are looking for a good budget tablet. This is miles above the other tablet I had for them.
This android tablet has a battery life of about 9-10 hours depending on what you are doing. It’s much longer if you are not watching videos. It arrived with only a few apps installed, which is a nice change from all the junk that is usually installed. It also comes with some Walmart coupons, which is a nice bonus. It is super easy to configure, you basically just answer a few questions and log in to your browser and app accounts to finish up the process. I do get a lot of notifications from Walmart, but I could turn them off. The tablet is light weight, which is a positive and a negative. It’s easy to hold with one hand, but it seems like it is not good for more aggressive environments – there is definitely some torque to it, and I’m not sure how it would hold up to dropping or being packed in a bag that is not padded. The back is plastic, and feels a bit fragile. Both the speakers and camera are solid. We use the tablet in our van as a small TV screen connected to a RAM mount. This works well, but because of the plastic back, we leave it there and do not move it around. It handles the bouncing of a moving car just fine. Like all tablets, fingerprints can be an issue, but they clean easily with a microfiber cloth for eyeglasses. I have both the 8 inch and 10 inch Onn tablets and use them both for different purposes. If I had to choose just one, I’d pick the 8 inch because it has a sturdier back and seems more durable. I do like the bigger screen to watch videos though.
The price was fantastic but there was nothing one problem and that was the Micro SD card. I bought a 16 gb micro Sd card and it didn’t mount and format properly. Every time you back to the settings it says the SD card is nit supported. I called the customer service and they researched and said that only 64 GB is compatible. So basically it would be better if you listed the compatibility requirement for the micro SD card next time. As you can see on the back of the box it didn’t include the Micro SD card requirements.
The bright spots for this 10 inch tablet are the large display and the price. For $100, I can now get a large form factor tablet that I can play games on. Looking underneath the hood, it has a decent enough quad core processor, decent battery life with a 5000 mah battery, and 32GB flash memory. The real kicker is they used 2GB of RAM and 2.0 megapixel cameras on both the front and back. Those two things are enough to steer me away from a full-on recommendation: Switching between apps takes a long time, I can count the seconds away while switching between Candy Crush and checking my email. Taking pictures or selfies result in images of low quality and out of focus. I understand at this price point that you can't have it all. But looking at the rest of the Onn tablet lineup, I would probably pay just a little more and get the "pro" with 3GB Ram and 5MP cameras. But ideally for this being 2020 and all... I would expect 4 to 6GB of RAM with 13MP cameras or higher.
