I have an old printer that wouldn't connect to the WiFi at all when we got a new router. I tried everything. Gave up after a few weeks and ordered this. Way better and wayyyy cheaper than buying a whole new printer, which I am currently not in a position to do.

This works for connecting my Canon printer to my Win 8.1 desktop computer, but it was almost too short. I can now print without worrying about whether my printer is online with my problematic WiFi.

In the WIFI age a corded connection is still the most secure type of connection!! The sturdiness and ease of use make this connector a huge asset for use on your desk top laptop and peripheral devices.

I purchased this for a printer. I wanted to have the option to print via a wired connection. Sometimes the internet is not functioning and I am still able to print with this. Easy to install.

I wish that I would have known that the printer companies are behind on the times when it comes to connecting to a router! They will only connect to a 2.5 connection so if you only have a 5 connection you will need this.

worked very well! easy to connect to both laptop and printer. Once i plugged it in to my laptop it immediately synced up and i was able to print out what i needed right away! really pleased as my printer has been having trouble connecting over wifi so now i don't have to worry about that anymore!

I recommend this to anyone like me a uses a printer that is not wireless or like me prefer wired to wireless. It's just a shame that printer company don't include the cables to run a printer wired, they used to include them when wireless first come out I think they still should as costly as everything is.

This did not work, despite being the right connection. Unfortunately, it had a design flaw that won't allow it to fit. I threw the packaging away so cannot return.

I ordered this from Walmart with the expectation it would be delivered the next day. I needed it quickly as I purchased a new printer and I was to have a person over at my house who was proficient at setting computer equipment items up, properly. I was given a notice on my in box, that it was delivered; however, it was not. After checking the entire exterior of my hoe, it was not to be found. After contacting customer service, it was verified it was not delivered and I was given the option of a refund, since the item I ordered WAS NOT IN STOCK. I wanted to give Walmart Plus the business, but instead, they gave me the business and now I am forced to go out and purchase this item from a local distributor for more money than I wanted or expected.
